EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I HAVE ONLY BEEN USING THE WEED PULLER FOR ABOUT A WEEK BUT IT HAS SO FAR BEEN EXCELLENT FOR REMOVING DANDELIONS FROM MY LAWN. IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO USE AND SAVES HAVING TO GET DOWN ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES.

Bought this to remove weeds from my grass was ok on the Small ones but when I tried to extract a slightly bigger one which needed a little more force the shaft bent when pushing down so only ok for light small weeds

Great Design and Easy to Use
I bought this as we have a particularly weedy lawn and using this, I was able to remove many of the weeds in a pretty short period of time. I found you have to separate the root from the earth that is removed from the ground and this process was easy as the ground is currently very dry so hopefully that is also the case in dryer conditions.

Really pleased with this as it's stopped the dandelions and other weeds laughing at me every time I try to control them. š”. You just place the metal over the centre of the weed where it is coming out of the ground, press down with your foot then pull it towards you, it's so easy. It's so satisfying when you hear the weed being ripped from the ground with all its roots, then a flick of the handle to dispose release it from the pullers grip.

Great product
I bought this item after owning a failed cheapie. This product does everything I need to pull out the weeds in my lawn. 5 stars is not enough, it is extremely well designed and manufactured. I have already pulled several hundred weeds. No sign of it giving up. Highly recommended. The slider ejection would be better as a lever action.

The supplier has advised the following for the Spear & Jackson Weed Puller - Red:
"You need to put your foot on the footplate to insert the prongs into the ground. How much effort this requires will be dependent on the nature of the ground.
Once inserted into the ground you need to pull back on the handle to close the prongs around the weed. The weed can then be lifted out of the ground."
