A fantastic hair removal tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hair removal isn't always pain-free, but the Phillips Beuty Set 990 goes a long way to reducing pain. A stylish set in a lovely gift case keeps all the attachments together. Each attachment even has its own pouch to protect them. The facial hair Remover is my most used item, it has a light and even it's own mirror. My chin stubble is not coming back as quickly as it did before. The face and body brushes are a greatxadfition especially if you need skin exfoliating ready for self tan. Tge led I will keep using not something I have used before so I will wait to see the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was offered the chance to try the Philips Beauty Set 9900 in exchange for an honest review, and after spending proper time with it, I have a lot of good things to say. What immediately sets this kit apart is just how much it offers in one package. I got to try out pretty much everything, the shaver head, the trimmer, the exfoliation brush, and the built-in light, and I loved all of it. It genuinely feels like it replaces several products at once. The shaver head gives a clean, close result and the trimmer is handy for tidying up without committing to full removal. But the exfoliation brush was a lovely surprise, my skin felt noticeably softer after use, and it's the kind of addition that elevates this from a basic epilator into a proper skincare tool. The built-in light is one of those small details you don't realise you needed until you have it, it makes such a difference for precision and catching hairs you'd otherwise miss. The epilation itself delivers long-lasting smoothness that shaving simply can't match. There is the expected mild discomfort that comes with epilation, but honestly it was minimal, nothing that put me off at all. My one gripe is the noise level during use, which is a little more prominent than I'd like, but it's a minor annoyance rather than anything serious. Overall, this is a brilliant all-in-one kit that I'd genuinely recommend.

Impressive Results for Both Hair Removal and Skin

I suffer from rosacea and have tried multiple products and medications but nothing has really worked, The LED attachment has noticeably helped calm the redness. I was hopeful it might make a difference, but I wasn’t expecting it to work this well. It’s also incredibly easy to use, which makes it really simple to add into my regular routine without any hassle. The hair removal tool works brilliantly on my legs and leaves them feeling super soft and smooth. I’ve also noticed the results last longer compared to when I just shave normally, which is a big plus. Another thing I really like is the skin cleanser that’s recommended to use beforehand — it does a great job of removing dry or patchy skin and really preps the skin nicely before treatment. It can feel a little bit uncomfortable in more sensitive areas, but that’s pretty normal for this kind of device and it’s definitely manageable. The battery life is also very good and lasts plenty of time between charges. One of my favourite extras is the small facial hair “zapper” attachment. It’s quick and easy to use, removes facial hair really effectively, and leaves my skin feeling smooth afterwards. Overall, I’m really happy with this product. It’s simple to use, works well, and I’ve seen great results both with hair removal and with how my skin looks and feels. Definitely a great addition to my routine!

Sleek, comfortable & Compact

First impressions were how well presented it is and the little travel case it all comes in makes it super easy for travel as I already experienced for a weekend, you have everything in one I cleanse my face every day and the two attachments for this have made my face feel even cleaner, I use the smaller one for more focus on my t zone area, its lovely and soft that it just glides over your skin at a nice enough pace thats enough to cleanse thoroughly without feeling like your products flying everywhere. The epilator attachment in my own opinion is not my favourite but that’s primarily based on the pain I just don’t like how it felt after a couple of uses, its much better than i’ve previously had as it covered my legs much more efficiently and removed any hairs better, The LED is lovely and soothing all over and feels great at the end of each day, I’m hoping to see more improvement in my skin with longer use of this one.

Fabulous piece of kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Philips Beauty Set 9900 BRE738/00 for a little while now and overall, I’m really pleased with it. It’s one of those all-in-one kits that’s meant to cover quite a few beauty jobs, and for the most part it delivers. The epilator itself is surprisingly effective. It removes even fairly short hairs and leaves skin feeling smooth for a good few weeks. I was expecting it to be quite painful, especially the first few times, but it’s more of a quick sting than anything unbearable. The built-in light is a useful touch as well, it helps spot those fine hairs you’d normally miss. What I really like about this set is the number of attachments included. You get different heads for shaving, trimming and exfoliating, so it’s quite a versatile kit. It means I don’t need separate devices cluttering up the bathroom. The facial attachments are handy too, especially for quick touch-ups. Battery life has been solid so far. I can usually get several sessions out of a single charge, and it charges fairly quickly. It’s also comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre around awkward areas like knees and ankles. That said, it’s not completely perfect. Epilating is never going to be totally painless, particularly in more sensitive areas, so there’s definitely a bit of getting used to. The number of attachments is great, but it can also feel slightly overwhelming at first figuring out what each one is for. Overall though, I think it’s a really good beauty set if you want something that does a bit of everything. It’s well made, easy to use and saves having multiple tools. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes a really convenient part of your routine.

It comes with a range of attachments for multiple benefits, such as Epilator hair removal, exfoliating, red light led therapy, make up removal and facial hair removal. I loved how easy to remove hair it is with the handy proguide attachment that also has the benefit of lighting up, so you can see those stubborn little hairs! My skin is wonderfully hair free, soft, cleansed and best of all, I'm getting a salon experience at home, with the touch of a button!

All in one beauty set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set has been a grand new addition to my beauty routine, saves me so much time not having to shave my legs 2/3 times a week, as using the epilator makes the hair not grow back as quickly, nearly 3 weeks and barely can see the hair. Just say, for someone who hasn’t used the epilator before, it has made my legs sore and left with red strawberry marks, but as I used it more, it was less sensitive and painful. Love the exfoliating head you get with the set, I prep my skin before I used the facial hair remover and my skint felt nice and soft and perfectly prep for make up. Two weeks in and it’s still nice a soft. With the LED red light, I haven’t seen much improvements yet, but it’s once that will need to be used for much longer than few weeks. Feels really nice and warm on the skin, it’s pleasant and easy to use. The whole set is handy and would highly recommend having it added to anyone’s routine. Super handy to take it with you when travelling as it comes in a small compact bag and being a cordless device makes it so much easier to use, and battery last a while, I have used it to do my legs, and face and it was still going strong, didn’t not need to recharge. Bonus for the guided light which helps to see all those stubborn hair! It’s been a great addition to my beauty routine. Also saves me a lot of time. Highly recommend
