Best hoover we had yet
The cable is super long and we do not need to unplug it to do the stairs. The best hoover we’ve had yet. Read some reviews that said it was really awkward to put together, but I had no issues

Would NOT repurchase or recommend!
Have been buying Vax vacuum's for decades now. This latest one is far lower quality than the ones (some even cheaper) that I have bought in the past. The suction is nowhere near as good as I have had in the past. The flex cable is now very thin & tangles up every use, a problem I've never experienced before. The brush head has far fewer bristles. The brush head for the nozzle tool also has far fewer bristles & is already deforming after 3 uses. The rubber seals on the hoses are already peeling off (again, just 3 uses) my husband has tried re-sticking them, but the "sticky" used to hold them in place is no longer sticky. Just generally much lower quality, cheaper plastic used throughout, skimping on things like bristles for the brushes & the cheap nasty cable tangling with each use is turning what should be a quick job, into a much longer & far more frustrating chore!

Fantastic vacuum
I purchased this after my 'Vax nano pet' started to fall to bits after many years of use (cat foster home here, that poor hoover had sucked up many many questionable materials and matter) & once again Vax has made an amazing product 👏 The suction is SUPER, I'm legit going round to friends houses to hoover with it for them to get up all the dirt and dust from their carpets. It is a little heavy for me but I have physical health issues so probs more to do with that. The storage for the tools is good, length of the cord is fantastic and how easy emptying it is a fab selling point. Brush bar cuts out when the dust tank is full which is revolutionary!

Hi Nic,
Looking into the Vax Air Stretch Max Pet Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner yes, the brushes spin.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes. But I believe the brush only works when the slider on the front, which you alter for deep carpets or laminate, is on a particular side, it does not work on both.
Hope this helps
