Bought this to replace my old one which I had for 10 years same make and model just updated. Was happy with this make previously and very happy with this choice again brilliant hover picks up really well and love the long cable for doing the stairs.

Yes. But I believe the brush only works when the slider on the front, which you alter for deep carpets or laminate, is on a particular side, it does not work on both.
