I would advise that this Duracell Specialty 2016 Lithium Coin Battery 3V - Pack of 2 is a CR2016 battery so as long as your thermometer takes CR2016 it will be compatible.

You would need to check your car owners manual, as there may be more than one iteration
I was able to identify it may be either a CR2016 or a CR2032
There are two iterations of key they are "a standard key" or a "Flip Key"
