Customers Say
JBL Tune 780NC headphones offer punchy bass, clear sound, effective noise cancelling, long battery life, and comfortable fit. Some find the bass overpowering and buttons fiddly. Great value for everyday use.

Great features but can be temperamental
My 3 boys have had these headphones for 2 years but have broken 2 or 3 times. They are not that strong though the features are good.

They work
This is a working set of headphones, expensive compared with some that are supposed to connect to your computer as well, but they do not, and have gone for testing. Usual good polite service.

Fantastic and comfortable headphones
If you like punchy bass, long battery life, and simple controls, the JBL Tune 780NC are the kind of headphones you can just grab and use every day without thinking too much about them. They feel more fun and practical than “audiophile,” which is exactly their charm. On your head, they’re light and comfortable. The ear cushions are soft, the clamp is secure without being too tight, and you can wear them for a couple of hours of work, study, or commuting without discomfort. They fold up easily, so tossing them in a bag is no problem. The physical buttons make life simpler: you can adjust volume, play/pause, and switch ANC or ambient mode by feel, without worrying about finicky touch controls. Sound-wise, they lean toward a bass‑heavy, energetic profile. If you mostly listen to hip‑hop, EDM, pop, or anything with a strong beat, they’re very satisfying: the bass hits hard, and the overall sound feels lively. Vocals and instruments are clear enough for casual listening, but the sound is not neutral-bass and treble are both boosted. If you use the JBL app, it’s worth nudging the bass down a bit and bringing the mids up so voices and acoustic tracks sound more natural while keeping that fun character. The noise cancelling does a good job with everyday low‑frequency noise, like buses, trains, or air conditioning, so you don’t have to blast the volume. You’ll still hear some voices and higher‑pitched sounds, but they’re less intrusive. Ambient mode is convenient for quick moments when you need to hear what’s going on around you. Battery life is one of the best parts: you can get several days of mixed use on a single charge, and a short fast‑charge top‑up is usually enough if you forget to plug them in. If you want comfortable, foldable, bass‑focused wireless headphones with decent noise cancelling for day‑to‑day use-work, study, commuting, travel-the JBL Tune 780NC are a very easy pair to live with. If you care more about perfectly neutral sound or top‑tier ANC, you might look higher‑end, but for everyday listening they’re easy to enjoy.

Will change your music listening experience!
I purchased these for my husband as he listens to a lot of music and it all tends to be bass heavy. I thought he would love them and I wasn't disappointed. The sound is so clear and it makes you realise you've never had headphones with quality sound before. The set up was easy, wireless and via bluetooth. The ear covers are so spongy and comfy to wear. The noise is amazing and when you lift one earphone you can then hear it so much louder. They were such a good purchase and an absolute bargain for the price!

Great for the money
The first thing I noticed when I put the headphones in was the fit. They clamp quite tightly to my only slightly larger than average head. They aren't uncomfortable but I did notice it after a while. Hopefully they will loosen after time. The us side is that even with them turned off they blocked a decent amount of noise out. When I turned them on I was properly impressed. I only have in-reas to compare them to but they did a great job. Sound quality is pretty decent I thought. I would have liked them to be a bit clearer, it was a bit difficult to distinguish between some of the instruments. I have some fairly high end in-ears and the sound on them is so much better. I think the main problem is the bass. Even when I dialled it down the bass was still pretty full-on. I found them much better when watching movies. The sound was clear and it really felt like a proper cinematic experience. The only thing I found disappointing was the wired experience. I couldn't get them to sound anywhere near as good when plugged in to my phone. Not sure what was going on, it may have been user error but I just couldn't fathom it For the price I think these are pretty decent headphones. I'm sure you can get better but at this money I think they are definitely worth considering

Great headphones at a great price
These headphones were bought for my daughter and she loves them. She can use them wired with her school Chromebook (Bluetooth blocked) and wireless with her android phone. She says they are super comfortable and look and sound great. I tried them with the app, and the ability to create a personalized eq based on a hearing test is a game changer for my old ears! Wired they sound fantastic with hi-res audio, and wireless they also sound really good, especially with eq applied. The battery life of 76 hours seems accurate and that is amazing. Overall great headphones at a great price.

Good piece of kit for the price
Happy with these for a budget friendly pair of headphones. Sound quality is good but the volume could go a bit louder. Good for teens as the decibel level seems to be limited.

Great headphones
I had issues with my previous headphones because the ear pads would make my ears sore after a short time. These headphones are completely different. The soft cushions are incredibly comfortable and allow me to wear them for hours without any discomfort. One of my favourite features is the battery life. It lasts so long that I can use them throughout long intercontinental flights without worrying about constantly checking the battery level or carrying a charger everywhere. The sound quality is excellent, and the overall comfort makes them perfect for both travel and everyday use. I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone looking for comfort, reliability, and great performance.

One of my favourite purchase during last months
I've been testing the JBL Tune 780NC for a few weeks now, and honestly, I'm really impressed with them. These are my first over-ear headphones, and one of the biggest things I've noticed is how comfortable they are. I've had issues with headphones hurting my ears in the past, but I can wear these for hours without any discomfort, which is a huge plus for me. I've also never used headphones with noise cancellation before, and I was genuinely amazed by the difference. The change is so noticeable, and I didn't realize how much background noise I was dealing with until I tried these. It completely changed my listening experience. Another feature I love is the JBL app and the equalizer settings. Being able to customize the sound to my own preferences makes a big difference and lets me get exactly the kind of audio I enjoy. The battery life has been very good too. I haven't personally found it to last the full 72 hours that's advertised, but it's still excellent and easily lasts me several days between charges. Overall, after a few weeks of use, I'm really happy with the JBL Tune 780NC. The comfort, noise cancellation, customizable sound, and great battery life make them a fantastic upgrade and my favorite headphones I've owned so far.

While you can connect our JBL Live 780NC to a TV using the included audio cable, we recommend going wireless for a much better viewing experience. Because the provided cable is short and designed for mobile use, plugging it directly into your TV means sitting close to the screen. For a far more relaxed setup, we suggest pairing them via your TV’s built-in Bluetooth, or getting a standard 3.5mm extension cable so you can comfortably watch from a couch.
