Philips Series 7000 Body Groomer - BG7470/15

Fast, comfortable and close

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a number of body groomers over the years and this is by far and away the best one I have experienced. Firstly the interchangeable shaving attachments give flexibility and options for different hair length, finish and area to be shaved Then the speed and accuracy of the shave is amazing. Only one pass is all that is required in most areas to get a really close and smooth shave. The shaver is very quiet and light to use. This means it is maneuverable and easy to use in difficult to reach areas. The battery seems to last a long time The USB charging means that you don't need to carry heavier adaptors with you when you travel I would like to have seen a hard case to protect the unit and particularly the heads when I travel. Attachments for other Philips shavers such as the nose trimmer will not fit this unit which is a shame. That would have made it a total product for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely happy with my old Philips shaver - but sometimes you don't know what's missing until it's fixed. This razor is so easy to use and gives a really close shave. It's quiet has a brilliant battery life and manages all areas! I would include a photo as proof but my wife said I'm not allowed...

Best I've used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for nearly 3 weeks now and I have to say it doesn't disappoint. I've had a few if these over the years and every one of them lacked in some way, either the units usability or the end result. This 7000 model from Philips is different. The unit itself is well built and ergonomic in the hand, the main shave head is 2D so moves from side to side when you want to get up close. The unit comes with graded attachments and shave heads. Comes with a carry case and a power cable, along with some user instructions. But beware, the user instructions the unit comes with are those mainly of a pictogram style and it can be a little bit confusing when trying to work out what picture means what. Thankfully there is a more comprehensive user guide available on the Philips website. This guide has written instructions to. I recommend you download it. The unit seems to charge very quickly indeed, and when switched on it's not as noisy as some of the others I've had in the past. The battery seems to last a fair amount of time too which I like as it saves repeatedly charging again and again and again. It's a wet and dry shaver, so no problems if you get it wet or you want to clean it under the tap. I like the LED light which helps to guide you, is very helpful, especially with my eyes not being as good as they used to be. As I said, it comes with various attachments. I recommend trial and error as to what works best for you. I found that the main shave head, and the intimate comb head adapter are more than suitable for my needs. I haven't had any niks or irritation in even my most intimate areas. But as I say it's trial and error and a lot depends on your personal preference on how you'd like to style (or not) your body hair. The unit comes with a soft fabric carry case. The case is very basic and a bit flimsy. It would have been good if the case was perhaps hard shell, or some sort of padded fabric so the unit can be protected when traveling or just in storage. The case is the only thing that lets it down in my eyes. Otherwise it's a pretty good unit that does the job well.

Can't recommend enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Philips Body Groomer 7000 Series (BG7470/15) and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. It’s designed for full body and intimate grooming, and from the first use it felt comfortable, easy to handle, and well built. One of the things I like most is the dual trim and shave system. I can switch between trimming and shaving without changing tools, which saves time and makes the whole process much easier. The 2D flexing head follows the shape of my body well and helps catch awkward hairs that are usually hard to reach, giving a more even result. Comfort is a big factor for me, especially in sensitive areas, and this groomer does a great job there. The Triple Protect shave system and rounded blade tips noticeably reduce irritation. I get a close finish without redness or razor burn, which is something I’ve struggled with using other groomers. The built-in OptiLight is another feature I didn’t realise I’d appreciate as much as I do. It makes it easier to see what I’m doing in harder-to-see areas and helps me be more precise. I also like that it’s fully waterproof, so I can use it in the shower and clean it quickly afterwards. Battery life has been excellent. I get plenty of use out of a single charge, and the quick-charge feature is useful if I’m short on time. The groomer feels solid in my hand, and the different comb attachments give me good control over how short or neat I want to keep things. Overall, I’m very happy with the Philips Body Groomer 7000 Series. It’s comfortable, reliable, and easy to use, and it delivers consistent results without irritating my skin. My overall rating: 10/10 I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay neatly trimmed with minimal effort and maximum comfort.

Comfortable Body Groomer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Philips BodyGroomer for a few weeks now, and it's just straightforward and comfortable to use. Switching between trimming and shaving is seamless, so Ican tidy up or go for a smoother finish without reaching for another device. It feels nice on the skin and there’s no irritation, even in sensitive areas, which makes a big difference. The flexible head follows the body’s shape naturally, and really like the back attachment it makes those awkward, hard-to-reach areas much easier to manage on my own. It works just as well in the shower, rinses clean in seconds, and the battery life is good and I dont have to constantly charge it. Overall, it feels like one of those products practical and comfortable for everyday grooming. Recommended

An intimate shaver that actually works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried several body grooming shavers and although they market as 'pain free' they still catch and nip. I tried the body groomer 7000 and was really impressed with how smooth and pain free it was. The results were much better as I didn't have to worry about catching myself. This is the first groomer I've ever used where I can get a smooth pain free result. My partner also uses it and says the same - she particularly likes it because it can be used in the shower.

The product is good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have chose this rating because I would’ve also like to have done my head with this as I’m not really a hairy person and my hair takes quite long to grow at the moment I cannot attach any photos due to not having any as I use this on the day it arrived which was almost almost 2 weeks ago. You can get a good grip on this when you’re using it in the shower. I have actually been out and purchased another one for the brother-in-law which he he was very very pleased with my son did see the box and they did say why would people do that when I had to explain that some people want to shave down there which made us all laugh as I say the photos can be attached later on. I will attach them.
