This rugged 50mm GPS smartwatch features a metal-reinforced bezel, bolted construction, and a scratch-resistant solar charging lens that delivers unlimited battery life in smartwatch mode when you're out in the sun for 3 hours a day. The 27mm memory-in-pixel display stays readable in any light, while the built-in LED flashlight gives you variable intensities and strobe modes for greater visibility on trails or in low-light conditions.
Track adventures with built-in GPS for pace and distance, plus 24 hour health monitoring including wrist heart rate, sleep tracking, and Pulse Ox. Fall and crash detection add safety. Monitor running, cycling, swimming and hiking workouts. Stay connected with smart notifications, NFC payments, and music controls. Amazing piece of kit
Have had some cheaper smart watches in the past, and as they say you get what you pay for. This watch seems to cover every activity you could think of, was sat in sun for a day and battery increased by 4% in smart watch mode. Battery life seems amazing considering I spent the first day setting up and going through the many menus and settings to get things how I wanted and working out what some things actually did! Think it only used around 3%. Obviously if you are going to use it for tracking exercise the battery will drain a lot quicker.

Love it. Nice big screen. Fairly easy to navigate the various pages. Super easy to connect to other devices. Looking forward to using it to navigate out in the hills.

Complicated and no Manual, still a great watch
Bought this to replace my vivoactive 3, didn’t research it just trusted it would be as good as my previous Garmin. Not sure how long the silicone straps will last as the vivo’s snapped within a year so got material ones off ebay as genuine Garmin ones are extortionate in price. No manual comes with the watch and on initial set up the screen froze. Quick google and a hard reset and it’s been fine since. Will have to download the manual as there seems to be a plethora of screens and apps I keep finding and accidentally found another menu that changes the brightness of the torch or turns the light red. Hopefully as I work outside the solar charging should keep it going for a while without having to take it off and do it at home. Overall initially very happy with it and its complexities.

Battery life of over 2 weeks ..
After owning a Garmin 645 for the past 5 years I thought it is time for a new watch . I did not want a flashy Oled screen as I was use to the old school style of the MIP screen ( Memory in Pixel ) .. Wow 2 weeks battery & even longer in sunlight with the solar edition . This new watch has so much more information on your activerty , running is my main activity with hiking second ..Just a brilliant watch..

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago, I am really impressed with the watch. Easy to setup via the Garmin app, Solar side of the watch really good. Very clear watch face even in bright sunlight, I have used it in the swimming pool and used the track me functions which worked really well. The watch looks good Ideal for any outdoor activities.
