About this product
The Argos Home Mia Mid Sleeper Bed Frame gives you a practical sleeping and study space that works hard in smaller bedrooms. It's a single mid sleeper with a solid pine and sturdy frame that lifts the bed off the floor, creating room underneath for a pull-out desk, chest of drawers and book shelf. There's plenty of storage for clothes, school books and homework supplies. High protective sides keep sleepers safe through the night, while a sturdy ladder makes climbing up and down secure and straightforward. Playful cut-out hearts and bevelled edges add a charming detail.
The ladder can be positioned on either side of the bed to suit your room layout. Wall-mounting brackets are included for additional stability, keeping the structure secure. The desk pulls out when needed for homework or creative projects, then tucks away to keep floor space clear. Storage underneath holds everyday items within easy reach. Wooden slats support the mattress, no additional base required. Suitable for ages six and over. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for easier setup.

Very Poor Quality
For what this bed costs the quality is very, very poor. The quality control is clearly non existent. Some parts were obviously damaged during the machining process and then painted. Also the paint finish on the corners is horrendous. The damaged parts were replaced but if my daughter didn’t have her heart set on this bed I would have returned it and bought a similar bed elsewhere.

Great value midsleeper bed but some marks on wood.
Overall I am pleased with this midsleeper bed for my daughter and it was good value for money. We originally planned to buy the drawers and bookcase separately but it worked out better value to buy the full package with the desk,drawers and bookcase. Due to the space in my daughters room we couldn't have the bookcase facing outwards so I was pleased to read in the Q&A that the desk could be placed in the middle by the steps instead of at the end. We have built the bed and made a den underneath for my daughter, she loves it under there. We have left the desk off for now but it's handy to have for when she's older. The bed frame was easy to build but we were disappointed to find it had several knocks in the wood and paintwork. Once built they are less obvious but disappointing for a new bed. The chest of drawers was a pain to build with lots of screws but seems solid once it's built. The hearts do also mean you can see in to the drawers. Overall I'd recommend this bed as its good value and has saved alot of space in my daughters bedroom too. She loves it, especially her den underneath however I was disappointed by some of the knocks on the wood.

Lovely bed
Lovely bed with lots of storage. I like that you can build the drawers etc separately. It is a bit creaky when in use, but kids don't seem to mind. There were some small damages on some pieces, but nothing major that we could use.

Mia Ultimate mid sleeper
Bought this bed for my little one. We bought everything - bed, table, drawers and a book storage. I was a bit cautious looking at the reviews available. The bed indeed squeaked once put together. However, little one didn't sleep in it and the next day the bed was absolutely fine. No squeaks. I did find though, that once it was touching the skirting boards, there was a squeak. Obviously it was just the rubbing of paint on paint. Draws and book shelf look marvellous as well and little one is really pleased and proud of her new bed. We have not assembled the desk yet as we have not had time, but that's on our list next.

So, they can be swapped under the mid sleeper, if they want to do that.''

The Habitat Mia Ultimate Mid Sleeper Bed Frame - White can be assembled without desk. I can confirm the drawers and bookshelf are freestanding so would not have to be placed under the bed.
