Great kids mattress
This is going to help with my daughter's night toilet training with the water resistant side. Comes wrapped up so small which makes it easier to get in the house.

Wibbly wobbly like a blancmange
Bought for my son whom is 9. Placed on the bed, and found it far too soft. I could see him rolling off it in the middle of the night. I was going to write that it was as unrefined as an air mattress, however that would be an injustice to air mattresses.

Very uncomfortable
I bought this for my daughter and while it is waterproof, it’s honestly the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever felt. We’ve waited to see if breaking it in and getting used to it would help but she’s not complaining most nights how it’s hurting her

Our mattresses are shrink rolled and vacuum packed. We do advise to leave the mattress up to 48 hours to spring back to its intended size. We do also recommend shaking the mattress a handful of times during this period.

The mattresses are made from a soft knitted fabric and have a silent and flexible membrane. This are a good quality product and do not have the plastic shiny feel to them.

No. I assumed this also but the urine has soaked into the mattress and my child is now in bed with me. I am not sure to what depth the urine will have soaked in and will be contacting the manufacturers on Monday.

We recommend the following on our waterproof mattresses:
1. Routine soap and warm water sponging is effective for ordinary use.
2. Fresh stains both water & oil based are easily removed using most water based household spray cleaning agents.
3. A half cup of household bleach for 5 litres of water can also be used as a useful disinfectant.
4. Best cleaning method is ‘wipe and dry’ technique. Full immersion not recommended.
5. DO NOT DRY CLEAN!

Photo shows this mattress on a mid sleeper, ours is a single size mid sleep, don't mind the little gap as when mattress is left to expand and other rails put back on, will be footend with few teddys

The suppliers have confirmed the correct depth is 18cm. Midsleepers usually require 10-16cm mattress depending which one you have, so the JAY-BE Open Coil Waterproof Kids Single Mattress would be to deep.

Suitable for a small child only. Id say up to 8 years old but light weight. Anyone heavier, no good.

The mattress has a softer spring to suit a child/teen but would also be suitable for a lightweight adult who’s happy with a softer feel.
