It's made from oak and oak veneer, with solid materials that handle daily use and support screens up to 55 inches. The wood finish shows off the natural grain, while polished chrome handles add a clean detail. Two frosted glass doors keep stored items dust-free but easy to see.
There's a shelf inside for media boxes and games, plus two cable holes at the back that keep wires tidy and out of sight. Total Rubbish.
Bought this as it was not flat pack. Total rubbish doors dont shut have to lift to close, front leg wood split, gap on one side and not the other, rear back pannel screws have missed the wood and split, Centre leg to short dont touch the floor, glass panels move in the wooden door. Will NEVER buy from Argos again as this is not the first time i have brought rubbish goods from them, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Looks really smart and is perfect for the job
After an impromptu upgrading of our rather ancient tv to a snazzy new 55” one we got home and realised that the distance between the feet on the new tv was too long to fit on our old tv unit. Add into the mix that the space for the tv to sit in is hampered by an old 70’s style stone fireplace and hearth and we had a problem as most tv units were too deep to fit into the available recess. Enter Argos and the Islington 2 door oak tv unit. Being narrower than most, the sizes were perfect. It also looked really smart with cables hidden away at the back and two glazed cupboards either side for storing away our necessary but not everyday cables etc. I really like the oak colour which gives it a timeless look. Even better the unit arrived fully assembled and felt nice and solid - certainly more so than if we had put it together - though the two delivery drivers totally ignored the ‘this way up’ arrows when they brought it into the house. The icing on the cake however was that we purchased it in a half price sale though TBH I would’ve paid full price because it fit the bill so well. We are very happy with our purchase and are happy to recommend the unit.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Islington 2 Door Oak Veneer TV Unit: not sure which version of PS5 you have. Just for example, if dimension of an object is 390x260x104mm, which can only be placed at middle space.(W428xD350xH123mm)

Yes - the hole is in the centre of the middle shelf so both shelfs have access to it.

May fit depending on the stand of the TV but would look silly on it. Far too small.
My 4k 55 inch fits perfectly in the centre with about half of inch each side not going over the table width.
A 65 inch would massively go over sides.

This would depend on the width of the TV and the TV stand, as this has a width of 128cm so the stand may possibly fit. However, we would not recommend using with a TV larger than 55 inch as it would overhang the unit and there is a risk of the TV being knocked over and damaged.

Argos answer totally wrong. While my PS4 fits perfectly on the second shelf, there is hardly any space for ventilation so the fans go mad.
Remove it from the shelf and nice and quiet again.
