We’ve just had a new front door fitted - one that locks when it closes, so potential to lock yourself out! We thought it prudent to replace the (very) old key safe with a modern design, hence purchasing the Master Lock medium key safe. It was easy to change the combination from its default and then install it in a suitable location. Now we don’t have to worry about locking ourselves out of the house, even if we forget to take a key with us - all we need to remember is the combination!!! The key safe itself is not terribly attractive, hence the four ‘stars’, but it serves its purpose and is functional.

“ This item is a wall mounted Key lock box so has small holes in the back to screw to a wall.
If you put a jubilee clip around the box you would not be able to open the door on the front so the answer is no”

This needs to be mounted which would require drilling holes. I would check the caravan's manufacturer’s guidelines or warranty conditions. Some manufacturers may have specific instructions or restrictions regarding drilling.

I would suggest yes too fiddly. Especially to pull down the lock. Look at the one with push buttons instead.

Drill a hole using a 5.5 mm masonry drill bit. Then insert red plug and hammer in so its flush and a number 8 screw 1 and a quater inch long may be inch and a half depending on wall
