Total disappointment
I had to return this item as it did not collapse or return to shape. It also must have been in stock a long time as it's handles were all dirty and around the top which did not come off. I was very disappointed as the idea of it was super and it was strong.

Fabulous wash basket
This is my 2nd collapsible basket, they are great if you dnt have much room. This is a great size. We are a family of 4 so on a weekend wash day in the spring summer it can hold a few good and heavy loads. Yes eventually the sides start to tear but that’s to be expected especially with my particular heavy loads, but you just replace it. I eventually threw mine out at end of summer and pegging out days last year. I did but 2 replacements but they weren’t as good as this one so I returned them. but I couldn’t remember where I purchased it from it was that old.so I left it for the winter with not needing one, then by chance it popped up on my phone and it was reduced so I grabbed it. Happy days.

The sides stay up, it is quite solid until you push it down one corner at a time, then it is about 4 " deep.

It doesnt collapse once it empties. It is really firm.
The basket remains firm when in use. You have to push it to collapse it. It is not flimsy

Mine is also splitting, its about 2 years old. Its no consolation but I think all collapsible baskets regardless of make will eventually have the same problem
Love this for easy storage but I have had the same problem in both of mine. Am on my second 1 now & have just discovered 2 splits in it. Am going to see if I can source a round 1 as I think it seems to be the corners (even though they are curved) that seem to be susceptible to splitting
I’ve had mine for just a year & the corners are splitting. It’s very disappointing for such a great idea basket & it’s not cheap. Though there is a 3 year guarantee. Luckily I still have the receipt.
Yep ours has just split in two, had it a couple of years and receipt long gone, great idea but the folding material is not up to the job
Yes. 12 months old and only opened and closed twice a week. All corners now split.

I put the handle over the edge of the table. Hold the other handle in my hand & with my other hand press against the bottom of the basket
Keep an even pressure as you push. Bit strange when you do it the first time. Collapse by putting basket on the floor press evenly on both handles & down it goes.
