Perfect Baby Monitor
I purchased this a month ago as i wanted to make sure it did what it said on the tin.. You can spend alot of money on these monitors but to be frank i just wanted something simple to understand and use. This fits the bill. Any movement is detected and the monitor will come out of sleep mode showing the movement. reviewed quite a few before i purchesed but very please i went for the V.Tech VM4254.

We’ve been very happy with product. Connectivity is great. Camera is 2nd floor, and monitor is ground floor. Yet signal strength is great. Picture and sound qualities are great too. Would recommend.

Purchased to keep an eye on my elderly mother. So easy to set up, no faffing with the wi fi, just charge it up and turn it on. Haven’t even stuck it on a wall, it sits on the chest of drawers. Very pleased with it, a good price, too.

The mains charger cable for the VTech VM4254 camera unit measures approximately 2m in length.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for VTech VM4254 3.5 Inch Video Baby Monitor.
The VM4254 wall mount requires 2 x No 6 sized screws to be inserted into a wall leaving the screw head protruding.
The VM4254 camera is then placed over the screws and moved so that the screw head is clamped under the slot in the camera - the Quick Start Guide (QSG) describes this simple procedure.
For reference, the camera base has a “keyhole” type slot where the diameter is 8mm and the slot width 4mm, therefore a No 6 screw is ideal.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the VTech VM4254 3.5 Inch Video Baby Monitor : If 2 x VM4254 complete products are set up to monitor two different locations, where both Parent Units are located next to each other, any risk of interference between the two Parent Units should be minimal.

The VTech VM4254 does not feature sound or motion detection, and therefore does not provide audible alerts based on movement or noise.
If you're looking for a monitor with these features, VTech’s smart app-connected models — typically starting with “RM” in the model name (e.g. RM7766HD) — include motion detection and alert notifications as standard.
