The Johnstone's Garden Colours Matt Paint 2.5L - Steel Smoke has a coverage of 12 square metres per litre. Usually one coat will be sufficient, however if your timber is rough or badly cracked then you should apply two coats of paint.

The Garden Colours come in a 2.5 litre container, the coverage is 12m2 per litre.

This paint is intended to be used for exterior wood such as sheds, fences, trellises etc. The timber to be treated should be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, grease, polish or anything else. Any old paint or varnish should be removed.
