Does as you’d expect a toaster to do!

This toaster does everything you’d need a toaster to do. It toasts evenly and I’m very happy with it! The Matt black look is sleek and doesn’t have too many ridges that collect the dust. The operational use is very easy and the ‘eject’ isn’t too fierce so your toast doesn’t go flying across the kitchen!

Compact and reliable

Really quite pleased with the Kenwood Ripple toaster. It’s easy to use, toasts evenly and the settings make it simple to get the level of browning you want, although the indicator on the browning knob can be a little difficult to see in low light (tip: just turn it to wear you think it should be and once you push the lever down a light will come on and you can then see to adjust the level). The design is nice and it looks good on the worktop without being too bulky. We store our small appliances when not in use, so, having a plastic shell it is not heavy to carry across the kitchen and also does not get as hot in use like our old metal toaster. I’ve been using it most mornings and it’s been reliable so far with no issues. The only big downside is that it’s a 2-slice toaster, which can be a bit limiting when you’re making breakfast and the rest of the family decides your toast looks yummy, they then end up waiting their turn for the toaster! A smaller downside is that the cord could be a little longer as it limits where we can plug it in. For what you can put into it, we struggled with longer slices of bread as they stick out the top and you have to flip them halfway through cooking, but have had the same issue with every single toaster we have ever owned, so not a deal-breaker. Overall, a good toaster that does what it’s supposed to and looks good while doing it.

Stylish but drops crumbs

I’ve been needing a toaster for a while as didn’t have one, and my son was enjoying toast made elsewhere. It’s stylish, and blends in well with my other equipment. It has pretty standard functions, however that is all we need. It works as expected, however the only downside to this toaster is that some crumbs seem to fall out the bottom of the toaster, especially if gently moved. This is quite irritating but not a big deal. I would say that I think it’s priced a little high given this issue however, it does the job, and looks great.

Quiet and sleek

It has been quiet, sleek, very functional. The toaster slots are of regular size. I wish they were little bigger and wider. But I am really enjoying the quietness. It has defrost function as well which is good to have. If the cord feel lengthy, it can be coiled underneath to shorten it further.

Great small toaster

This is an excellent little toaster, ‘does what it says on the tin’. Easy to use with controls at the front. Looks great, I like the matt effect, nice design and perfect for anyone with a small kitchen with limited space.

Lovely little toaster!

2 slice toaster, ideal for a small family. The bread slots are very wide so ideal for bagels or thicker cut bread. I like the design of the toaster with its matt fluted exterior and the front wheel lights up which is quite fun. Only comment I have is that bread toasts or burns quickly if the dial is turned up much higher than 2 in my experience, so I'm not sure why the funcion goes all the way up to 5.

Sleek, contemporary design toaster

Sleek, stylish 2 slice toaster in a contemporary design. Looks good in my son’s kitchen and matches his other appliances. Different levels of toasting and a defrost option too. It was also well packaged in a good sturdy box.

Compact toaster that does what it needs to

Compact and smart toaster. Love the matte finish, although it does seem to attract dust which is why it’s only 4 stars. Works well and toasts evenly. I like the clear dials and illuminations when being used. If you’re after a small black toaster, you won’t go wrong with this one.

Great to add class and style to the kitchen.

Such a stylish toaster. Perfect to add a bit of class to the kitchen with the textured design and the diamond style lever and dial. It can toast 2 slices perfectly by turning the desired time on the dial and also has a defrost mode. It is very sleek and perfectly sized making it great to fit in most spaces on the worktop without taking up much room.
