Unreliable flange
I really wanted to love the Momcozy M9 breast pump because in many ways, it almost lived up to the hype. The suction is strong and efficient, and overall, the pump functions really well. When it's working, it makes pumping so much more convenient and comfortable. However, the major issue—and the reason for the low rating—is the poor quality of the plastic parts attached to the flange. Within just two weeks of use, the first flange broke. I contacted support and thankfully received a replacement, but literally the next day, the other flange broke in the exact same way. It’s incredibly frustrating because I’ve been extremely careful when attaching and removing the milk collector, yet the plastic still snapped. These parts are clearly defective or made from weak material, and once they break, the pump becomes unusable. For such a critical component to be so fragile really defeats the purpose of having an otherwise great pump.If Momcozy could improve the quality of those plastic flange parts, this would be an excellent product. But as it stands, the lack of durability makes it hard to recommend, especially for daily use.

Not what I expected
Pumps look great. That’s about it. I have large breasts and the pumps had a hard job staying put in my bra if I moved about whilst pumping. Leaks were common as a result. The suction I didn’t find strong enough and was usually disappointed after pumping for 30 mins and having very little to show for it. Also the opening on the bottles is very wide and any milk I did manage to pump sometimes spilled when I poured it into a bottle or storage bag. Had high hopes for these but not what I expected. Have had much more success with a different make of pump.

Very disappointed.
First my flange has broken, after 3 weeks of use and then motor in the pumps got weaker and weaker. All of that not even in a month of use. When i reported broken flange I was refunded, but then I raised my issue again with main part of equipment - motor and a suction power- asking for full refund as IT IS A JOKE- something that expensive to be such a disappointment. Lady from the help desk wrote me in the email that I should buy a new one!!! Never again. Complete list of money!

It’s what I imagined, so far great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to pump at the office ‘in public’ at my desk as we don’t have any room not made of glass walls. Tried it at home so far a few times and love it, no spills, easy to clean and put together, charge holds reasonably well and most importantly it comes with all size flange inserts you might need. I’ve had the Ameda pump before and the small flange insert I require were impossible to find and buy. Would recommend, though if you only pump at home in addition to breastfeeding I’d say single pump is more than enough, no need to splurge on the double. It is noticeable size wise, you breasts look much bigger with it on, no hiding it, need a loose fitting shirt or you won’t button up. Noise - people sitting next to you will definitely hear it but not really further than that. Thinking to try is with a breastfeeding cover so that I don’t always have to wear a loose shirt to work. Wait for a sale/discount code if you can as a little pricey.

I want to love them
I want to love these pumps so much and I do to an extent. They empty me well now that I’ve figured out the flange size and right settings for me. They are super convenient with their hands free design, the mobile app is a godsend for discreet pumping while out meaning I don’t have to rummage through my bra and can quickly log how much milk I’ve pumped to record down later (a great feature if you have a baby that requires feeds to be monitored). The case that comes with the bag is great too, I take it with me and put it in the pram’s basket every time we go out, it means I don’t have to miss a feed. The pumps and app are so easy to use. I find them comfortable to use even as a larger busted woman. The quality is great I’ve had no issues with any of the parts and I’ve used them daily for 3months. They are expensive but were definitely worth it for the hands free feature alone, they really suit my lifestyle and I was resenting being tied down by wires with my main pump. My only two gripes are 1) I’m an oversupplier so I wish there was an option to have a larger collection cup and 2) the leakage. The leakage is a massive issue for me. Not only do they leak massively if you bend over no matter how much milk is in (this can be expected), mine leak at anything over 1.5oz. This is really annoying to have to change my bra constantly so I don’t stink of stale me and be wet all day. I would t mind if these were cheap pumps but they boast to be anti-leak and that’s just false advertising. It’s a common issue in reviews and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but it’s true. So just be mindful of this when you buy them. I have to stick a breast pad between my pumps and bra every time now. P.S they are assembled and used correctly, the seam between pump/flange and the collection cup is just not the best.

Honest review of m9 hands free pump
I have been breastfeeding/pumping for 6 months now and I have gone through 3 different portable pumps and 4 manual pumps but this has by far changed the game completely with my pumping sessions now.As a busy mum back at work I am now able to pump while I work and not worry about my supply dropping while being away from my baby. I am soo excited to get another m9 pump I wish it came with some extra flanges

Not great
So I bought this pump as I was returning back to uni/work (nurse) and I’d read it’s more discreet which it is and that’s the only positive for me along with you can control it from your phone. It also has a milk overflow alert which is good but as soon as you move your it sets the alert off which is just pointless if you’ve got to sit still wearing a wearable pump.It doesn’t empty me like my s12 pro does, my s12 pro I can get 130ml per breast a time, mobile flow I was getting 100-130ml combined no matter what setting I used. As the flange is plastic it also gave me a water blister, which subsequently popped and is currently infected which I’m on 2 weeks of antibiotics for and that was due to the friction (flange size is correct as I’ve been measured numerous times) I’ve had to revert back to my trusty s12pros and put up with the bullkiness and slightly more noise. What a waste of money 😭

Love the concept but it leaks constantly!
Bought this to make life easier due to the app and thought it would look more discreet than my m5.I love the concept of it but my right side always leaks once I get past 4 - 41/2oz and it's driving me insane to the point I have had to purchase more of the momcozy nursing bras because of needing to change sometimes 3 times a day! I am half tempted to go back to my m5 because I can't find anything online to help on why I keep getting the leaks onto my bra I am a twin mum so any milk I get is precious even more so because I am having to supplement with formula because I don't produce enough to feed both babies and it's making it even harder because of the leaks. Worrys me about using the pump when I'm out and about.
