Battery drains very quickly
I've only been using this for a day, but the battery has already needed charging. Set up was fairly easy. Not impressed with night vision and cannot see how to adjust it. Field of coverage 8s more than adequate and provides a clear capture of movements outside.

Good bit of kit. Easy to fit and set up, especially if you already have TAPO devices and app. Might be worth buying an additional separate chime. I have it linked to my Google home devices which works but the notifications only come through at the volume the speakers are currently at also can't seem to turn of a device from getting the notification. Slight problem with the door bell going off on the upstairs speaker when the kids are in bed.

The time of use includes recording and watching live views. Actual battery life may vary due to device settings, usage, router specifications, and environmental factors.

Tapo smart doorbell has a built-in sound that will alert you when someone presses the button. There is no additional chime that come with the doorbell. To add more chimes for your Tapo doorbell, you can try to Add Tapo Hub As a Chime.

Hi,
Please note that the doorbell can only be bound to one account. The doorbell can be shared with a maximum of 5 other TP-Link accounts. Shared users have limited permissions: they can access live feeds, two-way calling, voice calls, PTZ control, and SD card playback, but cannot access Tapo Care cloud storage or change doorbell settings.
For simultaneous live viewing, typically a maximum of three devices can simultaneously view the camera's live feed locally. For remote viewing, there are usually no restrictions. However, SD card video playback can only be performed on one device at a time.
However, you can manage and view content using the same account on multiple devices (over one hundred).
