Please bring back old SPF40 City Block
I used to use Clinique City Block SPF40 (green package). I loved it. However Clinique withdraw it few years ago. I've tried City Block Sheer, OK but too weak coverage. I didn't have choice to buy Superdefence City Block alternatively. First of all I don't like orange hue. The most annoying thing is my skin irritate when I use Superdefence. I have eczema on face. Once start using Superdefence, it flares up. After that I suffers few days itching and flake off when I use Superdefence. Old City Block SPF40 was brilliant. I don't know why Clinique withdraw such a brilliant product. Please consider to bring back old formula.

The Best in the Market
This is simply the best product on the market. It's sheer easily absorbed and gives me the confidence to know my face is fully protected

Excellent spf face protector
This is my favourite spf for the face. It goes on smoothly, make-up is easy to apply over it and, unlike other brands I have tried, it doesn't make me look too shiny. I definitely recommend.

My everyday sun protection.
I started using this product 2 weeks ago and I am never going to use any other sun protection. I mix it with my (lighter) daily moisturizer (pea size for each product) and it works wonders. It does give you a bit of colour (very subtle) but doesn't leave any residue and it's great for protection against sun rays. I use it as well when I go for my sun beds and haven't experienced any irritation, or anything else that would indicate allergic reaction. I really recommend it. I have dry to combination skin and have perimenopausal skin, too. No shiny skin whatsoever during the day.

Love This!
Fantastic product! If like me you have struggled to find sun protection for your face that doesn't cause irritation to your sensitive eye area, this is for you! Finally I have found a high spf for peace of mind that I can apply to my eye lids and under eye area. Lesson learned - guidance instructs this product being the final step in your morning skincare routine. If you have combination skin (as I do) or oily skin I would recommend only using the lightest application of your moisturiser, let that sink in a few mins before applying the city block to avoid looking too 'shiny'. It works a treat and leaves no residue. Thank you Clinique!

My go to
I live near the sea front. Walk it at least once a week. I use this as a sun block but also as a tinted moisturiser. It's tinted so it gives me a decent "glow' no matter the weather.

gives my skin glow and smoothness
the first time I used it I thought it was a bit oily, but the cream soon absorbs and can take another layer, if necessary. I only need apply touches of serum concealer as I find make-up only highlights lines and dry areas. this is my most favourite sun protecting cream - and also, no scent to irritate me. just the best for me.

Love this product!!
I love this product, I use it everyday over the top of my moisturiser. It has enough tinted coverage for me that I don't need to wear any foundation, it also leaves an amazing dewy glow. I've had so many compliments from people about my skin since using this product. I use many of Clinique products, and this is now one of my favourites!!

I don't look my age :)
I love this version of City Bloc I have used Clinique items for 50 years!! City Bloc has been a key product, and I have always worn it regardless of the weather. Applied every morning whether there were plans to go out or not. Carried it with me to top up If I did go out. Like many I was used to the chalky finish of the old version and was shocked at the new development I was sure that because it seemed oilier my foundation would float around on top. But the oiliness dissipates into the skin very quickly. I use fine a smear of serum all over my face then a couple of minutes later the City Bloc. It noticeably softens my skin where the old one didn't really. I used to have to apply moisturiser underneath now I don't have to bother.

Does the job.
I have always had a problem with sunblock on my face as it's been too oily...causing my skin to break out in spots. This one is the only one I have tried that doesn't have that effect. It does smell like sunblock..I don't think there's any way around that..but its not too strong a smell. Just an initial scent.
