Basically it’s a bowl ! The bubbles don’t do much for feet and it doesn’t keep warm . I could have bought a washing up bowl cheaper to do the same job . It was cheap to buy so I suppose you get what you pay for

HoMedics Bubble Mate Foot Spa
Had this foot spa a couple of months now and I'm very pleased with it. I place the unit on a folded bath towel just in case of spillage. Add a drop of shower gel, just a drop or it bubbles over, and let the spa do what it does, alternating through 3 or 4 cycles or more of 5 minutes soaking and 5 minutes of bubbling. The water level mark is not as prominent as it could be, I measure out 4 litres of warm water to fill it and when bubbling that keeps it warm. As others have said it is a little noisy when bubbling.

I think the problem is that the information sheet that comes with the unit shows the maximum fill line on the side opposite the power switch whereas its actually on the right hand side, seen when using the product. Its difficult to see but I found it eventually, lol.

the MAX fill line (which indicates the waterline) is located about halfway down the front interior wall of the BubbleMate foot spa. Look for a raised line or printed label that says “MAX” or “MAX fill line.”
If it’s hard to see, try filling the basin just enough to cover the massage nodes.
