The Ruark Audio R1S DAB and FM Smart Radio is a complete music system combining digital radio, Wi-Fi streaming, and Bluetooth in a compact unit that fits on a kitchen counter, bedside table, or desk. With DAB, DAB and FM bands, you get clear reception and 8 preset stations for your favourite shows. The Composite wood hand-crafted grille and tactile curves give it a fresh contemporary look, while the Roto Dial controller and colour LCD display make switching between stations or streaming services easy.
Wi-Fi streaming supports Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, and Deezer, while Bluetooth 5 connects to your mobile for other services and remembers up to 6 devices. It has a USB port, AUX input, and headphone socket. Delivering 9 watts RMS with bass and treble controls, it's ideal for bedside use with alarm, sleep timer, and RDS scrolling text. Great Radio but..
Love the look and sound of this brilliant radio, only gripe is the clock falls back by an hour or 30mins every now and then in the middle of the night I’m keeping my fingers crossed after a few tweaks but for the moment I’m setting my phone as an alarm clock

Great little radio
I brought this radio to replace a Sono Roam I used in our Kitchen. It’s a great little radio very versatile easy to use and change stations my wife love it no need to any fancy app just simple button. Look great and well built as well.

Really great radio
I purchase this radio approx a month ago to replace another make, this Roark R1S has been really good sound and easy to set up. The only improvement would be better detailed instructions for certain settings, and maybe a slightly larger time display for use as a bedside radio when a glasses wearer would not have glasses on.

Great little radio
The unit arrived quickly a few weeks ago. It’s a nice, small, vintage retro look, easy to set up, with excellent sound quality. Initially, the unit kept disconnecting from the internet radio station but that seems to have sorted itself. The menu selections take a little getting used to. Having the remote is helpful. Being in a rural area with few broadcast radio options it is fantastic to have thousands of choices - all streamed in a nice big sound. Recommended.

Good radio and end point for streaming. Hope next comes with a hi res DAC and ApplePlay and it will be absolutely perfect.

I have always looked at Ruark products and thought they had a lot of style. Having owned a R1S smart radio for about a month, I can now say it was a great decision. Superb sound with a depth that surprised me due to the size of the radio. Would definitely recommend.

Internet Radio is a essential technology for everybody who still believes in radio.The little machine delivers stupendous quality, is easy to navigate and in combination with the app a great tool. The store made an excellent job to make me buy the radio.
