About this product
Straightening without the heat damage? This Dyson Airstrait works differently. Instead of hot plates, it uses powerful directional airflow to smooth and align your hair as it dries. The Hyperdymium motor creates enough force to straighten wet hair in 1 pass. Your machine senses when hair is between the arms and automatically drops to low airflow when it is not, so you get quieter styling when you pause. Wet and dry modes let you straighten from towel dried hair or refresh dry hair between washes.
With 3 temperature settings up to 140 degrees, you are in control of the heat level. Digital controls and a heat ready indicator tell you when it is ready to use. The 2m swivel cord gives you room to move around while styling. Hinge lock keeps it secure when stored. Automatic safety shut-off switches it off after a set time. The kit includes a heat resistant mat and presentation case for storage and travel. Work through sections from roots to ends for a straight finish without extreme heat exposure.

Customers Say
Dyson Airstrait is praised for drying and straightening hair simultaneously, reducing frizz, and leaving hair smooth and shiny. It's easy to use but bulky and heavy for some. Best for long, thick, or curly hair; less effective on short hair.

Worth to buy!
I’ve been really impressed with my Dyson Airstrait. It dries and straightens my hair at the same time, which saves me a lot of time in the morning. My hair feels smoother and looks shinier compared with using a traditional straightener, and it has much less frizz afterwards. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and leaves my hair looking salon finished without excessive heat damage. Overall, it’s an expensive purchase, but for me it has been worth it for the convenience and results.

Dries and straightens hair quickly
Really pleased with how well they dry and straighten my hair. They do take a bit of getting used to but have reduced the time it takes to do my hair which is great

So much better for my hair! Love them!
Ive now had about 3 or 4 goes at using these so far..I absoultely love them. I am quite lazy with my hair normally so these are an effort to wear mt hair down more. Out the shower with wet to straight hair within half the time it used to take me blow drying and straightening separately. It leaves my hair in much better condition than before. I've still to find my favourite product to help with a bit of static/frizz but just bought wow dream coat so should give a lovely shine once activated with the heat. I dont find them heavy at all, bulkier than my old GHDs but you get used to them quickly. Would recommend.

OK
First impressions ok. Straightening "blades" are pretty big. I only have fairly short hair and holding the hair ends to get them into the "blades" is tricky. Doesn't shine the hair. It's noisy!

Heavy to hold and hard to use on short hair
I am finding it hard to use on short hair. It is large to hold in my hand and heavy. My hair is curly and it does help to straighten it but the condition is not good Expensive for the outcome

salon-look results
It is incredible and the result is salon-look, when used as a dryer-straightener. When used for retouch on dry hair, also very effective.

Not as good as it is promoted to be
I have used this twice and it dries the hair straight, however within an hour or two my hair is curling back up and gets frizzy - I have had better results with a regular hair straightener. So far I am not impressed
