Great connectivity on my old machine
Have had a fire stick before and got full connectivity quickly and easily. Works very well on an old small TV in my bedroom, which is useful having a in-built dvd player. Thanks to the fire stick I can carry on using it until it conks out.

Not as good as the Max or Ultra
This Firestick disappoints in lots of ways. DO NOT buy the 4k Select, it's not as good as the Max or Plus. The 4k Select is Amazon's latest release and it runs on Vega OS and you can't install Downloader on it which is an Amazon app! All the other Firesticks like the 4k Max and plus ultra run on Fire OS so you can have Downloaded installed. In my eyes, don't waste your money on the Select model and go for the Max or the plus. I paid £49.99 for it and its now £25.99 in the sale. The 4k Max is £48.99 at the moment with an additional offer too and it's a much better buy.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select does not come with a keyboard. It is designed for streaming content in 4K resolution and includes an Alexa Voice Remote Pro for control, but it does not have a physical keyboard option.

I think this question was referring to the Downloader app which allows the installation of third party apps or side loading I think its called. This model doesnt list the Downloader app in the Amazon app store and doesnt allow the installation of third party apps. I believe the 4K Plus may allow this, but Im not sure
