I recently bought this and it is extremely good value. I've had at least two previously so I know that they eventually go rusty, but I think for the price it's no trouble to replace it.

Good but 2pair of hands needed
Good but impossible to fit single handed. Also screw that secures to pieces together would not screw into or fit the hole .

Game changer

Was lopsided when fixed to wall needed support in middle to fix to ceiling

Poor quality
Tilts to one side and it the metal was bent but I'd already put it up when I realised. Needs something needs to attach to the ceiling in the middle to make it more secure I shouldn't think it will last long. I can't leave the shower curtain hanging on one side as its not strong enough. I wish id listened to previous reviews

Not fit for purpose
Will have to return as not fit for purpose. Hangs off the wall once you have a curtain on. Had to remove as was going to fall down and cause an injury. This was professionally installed.

Exactly what I needed
I bought this a couple of weeks ago whilst updating my bathroom. I have a stand alone bath and this item is perfect above it. Creates exactly the look I was going for.

Additional rings can be added and a longer curtain would have to be 2500mm to fully extend round the 800mm diameter shower.

I would say yes, it definitely needs ceiling rods to support it. As soon as you put a shower curtain on it hangs right down. Ive not been able to use mine for that reason.
