light weight, spiral end feature can't be removed
Nice rail, very light weight, only draw back is spiral ends are not removable, as my window quite wide it made it awkward putting curtail on rail plus removing rail you need to undo the plastic ring that holds the extention rail otherwise it hits wall and marks paint. My opinion... this rail goes up and curtains hung, it's up for good. Some of the chrome finish wasn't the best, parts not covered completely. I had just moved home and needed a curtain pole A. S. A. P. decided on this rail. It's up now looks the part apart from features I found with this design.

To attach the end of the Argos Home Chrome Extendable Curtain Pole, you release the grip by turning slightly, slide the pole to the required length, then turn it the opposite way to lock it into place.

Between 165cm - 300cm, in simple terms yes. You turn it slightly to release it from a grip and then slide it to where you want then turn it again the other way to tighten it.
