The Soft & Huggable range has been created especially for everyday use. The soft touch quilted mattress protector extends the life of your mattress by protecting it from stains and sweat. The protector has a low fill weight and fits to your bed using reinforced elasticated straps.
Supersoft cover. Re-inforced elasticated straps, suitable for a mattress depth of up to 30cm. Protects and extends the life of your mattress.

Part purchase of replacement of worn mattress and pillow protectors; good fit and deep sides fit snugly over my king size mattress. Lightweight, slight silky feel so doesn't rumple under the sheet. It has washed successfully without shrinking or losing body and has been very good value.

Does the job
Covers the bed and has easy corner straps to keep it in place. I wouldn't say you can feel it under the sheets as its very thin. It basically just protects the mattress a bit more.

Mattress protectors are only thin as they just act as a cover for your mattress. It will be less than 1 cm thick.

The product description under About this producton the Argos website STILL says it can be tumble dried!! In December 2023, 2 years after this question was asked and answered as non-tumble dry! Needs anemding, or else a note adding to the Q if advice has now changed
