I found the assembly quite challenging. The metal slats were difficult to keep in place, as only two are secured with screws, so they fell out several times during the process. Once everything was finally put together, the frame did feel stable. The biggest disappointment for me came when I added the mattress. Unlike the photos, there were no visible arms or sides on the daybed. I can only assume the images show an unusually thin mattress, because I used a standard mattress purchased at the same time and the finished look is completely different. The pictures feel very misleading, and the end result isn’t the style I was hoping for.
