Lovely keeps you warm
Really does keep you warm although some people exspect a self heating blanket to actually heat you up like a electric blanket some are delusional read the marketing and it will say it reflects and holds your body heat in and warm up that way. Does exactly that without being plugged into the mains recommended

Comfy but overpriced and not very effective.
Whether or not there actually is a reflective foil layer within, I can not say without taking it apart. Curiously, Silent Night have another blanket which looks the same, has the same colour or colours available but is cheaper and lacks the inner foil this variant is supposed to have. Despite that, they use the same marketing photos for both products. I suspect strongly that had I purchased the cheaper version without the foil layer I would have been no worse off. The blanket is asthetically pleasing, lengthy and quite comfy. However, it being lightweight it can easily come off, even with a duvet on top and I do not find it greatly warming at all.

Self heating blanket
Like it says it’s true keeps you cozy I’ve been using it instead of duvet & im cold when I get into bed but it warms me up & im warm all night . Works & is worth every penny , so soft so cozy .

WHAT A BEAUTY
Despite its size it's surprisingly light. Keeps me cosy on chilly evenings. The foil inner doesn't rustle or crinkle at all. The fleece underside doesn't shed bits and the top layer is soft and smooth. Can definitely cut down on energy bill with this beauty.

You could Vacuum pack it to put in case, then even less space taken.
It's a big blanket but not too thick brilliant at keeping in your body heat though

I've only just recently bought mine so not used as not cold enough yet here so I can't answer on wether it would make you sweaty or not but it's definitely not crinkly
