If you're after a laptop that can handle everyday work, browsing, streaming and a bit more without slowing you down, this HP 15.6-inch model's got the credentials. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with 8 cores and a burst speed of 4.5GHz, paired with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, so it boots up fast and switches between tasks without any lag. The Full HD screen gives you 1920x1080 resolution with an anti-glare finish and narrow bezels on three sides, so you get more viewing space and less distraction.
Battery life sits around 10.5 hours depending on how you use it, and at 1.59kg it's portable enough to move between rooms or take out for the day. It runs Windows 11 Home, with a built-in HD webcam and microphone for video calls. You get 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C, 2 USB Type-A, HDMI output for connecting to a monitor or TV, and a headphone jack. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are included, so you can connect to your home network or pair wireless peripherals. AMD Radeon graphics handle everyday visuals and entertainment smoothly. What's in the box - the laptop, battery, AC adapter, and power cord.

No backlight
It’s a good laptop and he boots and works smoothly. I’ve been used it for IT training and I enjoyed it so far. However, the lack of backlight on the keyboard makes it almost impossible to use it in the dark.

Functional
This laptop was to replace a previous HP model from 2019 that was maybe a spec or more higher. The laptop is functional and quick but the poorer screen quality and the absence of USB2 power supply is probably what I should have expected. It is not so much a problem because I tend to mainly work on the laptop with a separate high quality screen. Overall for the price, was a good buy.

Does what it says
I have been a long time fan of HP products and this latest laptop is just as t should be, although I do miss the fact that it doesn't have a touchscreen, which the previous version did.
