When installing the Hotpoint HTG5GCWL 50cm Twin Cavity Gas Cooker, the standard height for the wall-mounted gas bayonet connection should ideally be around 750 mm (75 cm / 29.5 inches) from the floor.

"Yes, the Hotpoint HTG5GCWL gas cooker comes with a standard 13-amp plug already fitted.
It requires an electrical connection for the electronic ignition system (for the hob and grill) and the internal oven light to operate, and can be plugged into a standard 13 Amp wall socket.
Important Installation Note: While it plugs in for the electrical components, the primary fuel source for the hob and oven is gas. Therefore, the appliance must be installed by a qualified Gas Safe engineer to ensure a safe and proper gas connection."
