As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimaeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone. A wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.

No quest markers, no map
Did you ever feel that it is immersion breaking when you have quest markers in a game or having a map that shows your exact location feels off, then look no further - Hell Is Us might be the game for you. In this game you solve puzzles that range from simple logic puzzles to reading lots of notes that include clues on what to do next. Some puzzles also include clues in plain sight such as environmental puzzles, paying attention to your surroundings is very helpful in some situations and some clues are given via dialogue. The levels are laid out in a way that they remind me of mazes. There is combat which can be more on the difficult side but there is some relief as in you can reduce the enemies health and damage in the settings but they still are a threat if you don't pay attention. The enemies can get repetitive as there is not that much variety. The game can get confusing at times and you might not know what to do next. Overall it is a solid game if you can look past some of it's flaws.
