About this product
The Habitat Ruxley Bed Frame gives you a cosy place to sleep, with built-in storage at the foot end that keeps your bedroom tidy. It's upholstered in soft velvet fabric, so it feels comfortable when you're settling in for the night. Sprung wooden slats underneath the mattress flex and support your weight, helping you rest properly. The stitched detailing gives it a bit of visual interest. It's a superking size, so there's plenty of space for two people to sleep without feeling cramped.
The storage drawer at the foot end holds 151L, enough for spare bedding, extra pillows, or clothes you don't need every day. Plastic feet lift the frame slightly off the floor, making it easier to clean underneath. The base sits low at just 2cm from the floor, keeping everything stable. Self-assembly's required, and you'll want two people to put it together. There's a one-year guarantee included for peace of mind.

Beautiful Bed, Let Down by Missing Fittings
I was really looking forward to receiving this bed because it looked beautiful but unfortunately, when I started assembling it, I discovered that the essential fittings and tools were missing, making it impossible to put the bed together. I contacted Argos customer service expecting a quick resolution, but I was extremely disappointed to be told that the replacement parts cannot be delivered until 22nd July. This means I have to wait much longer before I can even use a bed that I’ve already paid for. Mistakes can happen, but what is most disappointing is the length of time it takes to fix the problem. When customers spend their money and put their trust in a company, they expect products to arrive complete and ready to assemble, or for any issues to be resolved promptly. I hope Argos improves its quality checks before dispatching products and provides faster support when mistakes occur. Sadly, this experience has been frustrating and has reduced my confidence in ordering large items from Argos in the future.

Colour not the same
The fabric is very yellow in real life and the headboard had a black mark on it.

Very happy with my purchase
Very happy, very comfortable, the big drawer at the foot of the bed is great - much better than side drawers. Bed is a good height - I don't like a really high bed. We have the superking which has three rows of slats, making it feel very sturdy and possibly no rolling too close to the other half! I have searched everywhere for a bed which is not ottoman style. They just don't hold up after a while, I would never have another ottoman bed. This bed is perfect and I got it with 20% off offer. Very happy. I built it by myself, just needed help getting the headboard section up the stairs.
