About this product
The Habitat Dartford Double End Lift Ottoman Bed sorts your sleep and storage in one smart piece. It's upholstered in a soft linen-style fabric that suits most bedrooms. Lift the end to reveal hidden space underneath, that's 590L for duvets, spare bedding, or anything you need to tuck away. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress with a bit of bounce-back and let air circulate properly, so you've got better conditions for sleeping well. The upholstered headboard's included, mattress isn't, so you'll need to add your own to get started.
The grey fabric wipes clean when you need it to. The end-lift design means you can access all that storage without shifting the bed around. Plastic feet keep everything stable and lift the frame just off the floor. It'll hold up to 220kg total weight. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for putting it together. There's a one-year guarantee included for reassurance.

Nice bed
I like the colour of the bed and it was relatively easy to build. However I don’t think that it is a true ottoman bed as there is only a piece of Velcro edged cloth to add the bottom, not a proper base. Therefore if you want to move it at all you have to remove everything from inside and then move it.

Having checked the instructions, the base is fabric. It is advised:
Be very careful what you store under the bed the top of an item, like a suitcase or a box, must not touch the slats or they may be damaged. Maximum storage height is 225mm.
