The mink velvet base comes in two pieces with chrome feet that lift it off the floor. Two storage drawers sit on both sides of the bed, handy for tucking away spare bedding, clothes or anything you want out of sight. The base is handmade in the UK by Silentnight, a brand with over seventy-five years of sleep expertise. Assembly needs two people and clear instructions are included. The headboard's not part of this set, so you'll need to sort that separately if you want one.
