About this product
Switching between sitting and standing shouldn't feel like a chore. The Leitz Ergo Cosy Stool 2 In1 Sit Stand Stool is designed to keep you moving throughout the day, helping to improve your posture and boost energy levels without disrupting your workflow. The clever rounded base encourages gentle swivelling and rocking movements that engage your core and strengthen your back muscles as you work. It's a practical way to break up those long stretches at your desk, reducing the stiffness and fatigue that come from staying in one position for too long.
What makes this stool really versatile is how easily it adjusts to suit your needs. Use the red release buttons to switch the height anywhere between 46-79cm, whether you want a comfortable sitting position similar to an office chair or a supportive perch for standing work. It stays stable and strong at any height, giving you confidence as you move between positions. Simple to keep clean with a quick wipe down, and at 5.5kg it's easy to reposition around your workspace. Backed by a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee, it's a smart ergonomic solution that keeps you active and comfortable all day.

Great quality, feels good
This is a great stool for sitting at my desk. It moves in a gentle rock when I shift position on it, so it’s great for feeling a bit active when I’m sitting for a long time. Sturdy and the height adjustment is easy. Very happy with it

Wobbles around!
Not safe for disabled people or people with mobility issues. App doesn't make the rocking bottom clear. Dissapointed as I wanted this for the height capacity but fall off it because the bottom is rounded and the whole stool wobbles around. Trying to get a collection/return through Argos and a refund through Argos pay is a nightmare... So think before you purchase this as it's heavy and big, but has a rounded bottom so isn't flat or sturdy like it looks in the pictures. Should not be in the medical part of the Argos menu. Should be in the gym section as you need good core/thigh muscles to be able to use it, otherwise it just tips over with you on it.

misleading photos
This stool looks well made and I like the large adjustment range and feel like it will be good for a lot of different uses in my studio including drawing, weaving, sewing machine and standing at my easel or pattern cutting table. I can't comment on the comfort level, as I haven't really used it properly for any period of time yet. It feels light enough to move around to different stations. I like that I can store it under the table to save space. My main gripe with this is that I was disappointed by the colour of the base when I received it as I feel that the photos are quite misleading; I got the yellow one, which looks bright yellow on the photos, but in reality it is a very muted, almost sandy shade of yellow - slightly darker, but much less saturated than shown. Had I seen it in person before buying, I may have chosen one of the other colours, although, I don't think the colours to choose from are the best anyway IMO.

Great sit to standing stool
Well built and designed - works well with my sit to standing desk and takes up much less room than the bulky office chair I was using before. Docked a couple of points as it isn't quite as comfortable as a regular office chair, although it's probably better overall for my posture!

Good sitting/standing stool
Good stool, fairly easily to adjust up and down, feels good quality, mainly use for sitting whilst desk is lowered as opposed to perching when at standing height. Has helped with back pain from sitting on normal chair, does not feel too wobbly.

Fantastic stool!
I have been looking at active sitting stools for a number of years and I finally decided to purchase this one. I am so glad I did. Not only do I love the colour but it's so versatile in my little office. I can swap positions across 2 work surfaces easily and I feel comfortable sitting on this for a whole work day. Before I'd sit on my office chair and I'd feel stiff and tired at the end of a day, now I don't get as much lower back pain. I also love how it keep your centre of gravity in the centre and you don't need to lean forward. I also have ADHD and I love the option to move gently during meetings to keep me stimulated.

Great chairs
My kids love doing homework in their bedrooms on these chairs. No damage to carpets and lightweight so can easily be moved about.

Great Design, Great for the Core
I’ve used this sit/standing stool for the last 4 weeks to try and give a good honest review. First of all the design is great, for those of you that are wanting to build some core strength then I would definitely recommend. Overall the build quality is strong and handles weight very well. Even after 4 weeks it still feels as sturdy as it did to start with. Stool is easy to adjust and relatively smooth travel. A couple of disadvantages. The base of the stool is a white rubber and seems to get dirty very quickly making the stool look slightly worn. The seat cushion looks and feels very basic. Although comfortable. Overall I’d recommend giving it a try.

Remote working lifesaver!
Working from home has done no good at all for my posture over recent years however I was concerned that I would slouch sitting on a backless stool but this was not the case at all. The stool is extremely easy to manoeuvre, there is a button on the leg for changing the height position and the seat itself is very comfortable. I am now using this stool for around 6 hours per day and no back pain at all!
