Excellent Hoover
Excellent hoover, literally pulls you around to Hoover when on max suction. It has made all the pile on my carpet stand up again like new. The hoover has an XL bin which is great so it doesn’t need emptying so often. I have 2 dogs and the amount of dust & dander it has picked up is unbelievable (& the dog hair)This hoover is definitely 10/10 & would recommend to anyone.

I brought this in July and wish I had returned, every week I have to unblock the pet hair brush, I can see hair caught in the sides of the other roller that i can't remove I've looked at the manual, ive looked online. I really wish I had returned this when I could. I'm really disappointed in its performance.

Its ok seems to do the job
Looks nice, feels solid. This is my 2nd shark and there are some differences which I am not keen on. The power cable is on the wrong side, and its very stiff to wind up The crevice tool does not fit on either side of the machine easily due to lack of space, if the power cable was on the other side like my old one it would fit really well. Weight is the same as my old one Good suction, used my old one then this one and it picked up lots more.

Versatile and effective
Bought this to replace an old bagged machine and loving it. Very versatile can be used as an upright or easily configured to be more portable with a range of attachments to cope with anything. Our previous machine constantly got snagged with hair - this machine has been clear and hopefully will remain so.

Not sure it’s an upgrade 🤔
New vacuum arrived last week, upgraded my previous duo clean lift away that’s got to be around 8yrs old! Overall this was easy to put together, I like the detect feature between hard floor and carpet. Feels lighter to manoeuvre than the old one. However there are some features I miss from my old one. The light on the handle when in lift away mode was handy when vacuuming the stairs this one doesn’t have that. The cord store away isn’t so easy it’s to the side as opposed to the back, the nozzle attachment is snug where it sits and the cord hook and wand release button are in the way. Just a few design flaws I think personally. I do like the anti odour technology and the suction is great! BUT at the moment prefer my old shark.

Great suction
Suction is great, detecting the carpet and hard floors great, anti-hair wrap great. The hose and power cable are very stiff, whatever I tried when using the hose with the wand the base is always falling, I am next to the base when vacuuming and I try just a little to move the hose the base will fall. The main brush is a bit bigger than I would have liked, if it’s a little smaller will vaccum better next to sofa, walls… definitely value for money

Brilliant cleaner
This is a great vacuum cleaner and removed so much dirt from carpets I thought were clean! It is a little heavy to move around and it’s weird not to have a wire stored inside it. I had wired Dysons for years but they changed to cordless ones which just aren’t as good.

Amazing results!
This vacuum is fantastic. After our first use, the carpet looked brand-new. I have a cat and a dog and The Hoover has made such a difference! Glides really well and the power is amazing. So pleased we got it!

I’m pleased with my purchase
I’ve had this vacuum cleaner for about 3 weeks. I found it easy to put together. I’ve used it a few times and have been surprised by how much dust and dirt is being sucked up. I have reduced the suction to minimum when on carpet to reduce the amount of carpet fibres being vacuumed. Suction is strong which means the cleaner sometimes feels a bit heavy as you use it. But it’s not heavier than my previous vacuum cleaner. Removing and replacing the wand is easy. Moving the vac from upright to the position to vacuum is still a bit tricky, the movement isn’t smooth but with a jiggle I manage to get the position sorted. The cord is stiff and inflexible which others have commented on. I had hoped that following feedback over a long period the cord would have been changed but seems not on the one I have purchased. The cord is a good length meaning I can vacuum the whole of the downstairs from one socket. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

I have been using a cordless Dyson for the last 12 years. The Dyson is light, very convenient for stairs…especially if you live in a townhouse. When I received the corded Shark Detect XL Pet Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by its powerful suction and deep cleaning capabilities. It lifts embedded dirt and long hair on the first pass, without spewing dust back in the air. I shall keep the old Dyson to clear minor spillages, for stairs and because it is much lighter than the Shark. Delivery was prompt…less than 24 hours from ordering time! A very professional service by Shark. Would definitely recommend.
