Amazing results!
This vacuum is fantastic. After our first use, the carpet looked brand-new. I have a cat and a dog and The Hoover has made such a difference! Glides really well and the power is amazing. So pleased we got it!

I’m pleased with my purchase
I’ve had this vacuum cleaner for about 3 weeks. I found it easy to put together. I’ve used it a few times and have been surprised by how much dust and dirt is being sucked up. I have reduced the suction to minimum when on carpet to reduce the amount of carpet fibres being vacuumed. Suction is strong which means the cleaner sometimes feels a bit heavy as you use it. But it’s not heavier than my previous vacuum cleaner. Removing and replacing the wand is easy. Moving the vac from upright to the position to vacuum is still a bit tricky, the movement isn’t smooth but with a jiggle I manage to get the position sorted. The cord is stiff and inflexible which others have commented on. I had hoped that following feedback over a long period the cord would have been changed but seems not on the one I have purchased. The cord is a good length meaning I can vacuum the whole of the downstairs from one socket. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Very impressed by the service provided by Shark
I have been using a cordless Dyson for the last 12 years. The Dyson is light, very convenient for stairs…especially if you live in a townhouse. When I received the corded Shark Detect XL Pet Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by its powerful suction and deep cleaning capabilities. It lifts embedded dirt and long hair on the first pass, without spewing dust back in the air. I shall keep the old Dyson to clear minor spillages, for stairs and because it is much lighter than the Shark. Delivery was prompt…less than 24 hours from ordering time! A very professional service by Shark. Would definitely recommend.

In looove!!
Much better than my last shark! Carpet was already clean but had to give my new shark a test drive. Collected a lot of lint which my older vacuum clearly missed! I have a lot of dogs in my house and this vaccum does exactly what I need!

Fantastic Hoover!
Fantastic hoover - great for pet hair! Good suction, brilliant different attachments for reaching difficult places, love the scent pod too! The lead appears to be made of plastic and unfortunately gets tangled, mine has snagged twice when the hoover ran over it. I'm not sure how long it will last which is a shame.

Best vacuum I’ve owned so far and I’ve had a few
I’ve upgraded from the handheld battery vacuum and it’s so much better for suction. It leaves stripes in my carpet, easy to move, long enough cord, it’s just too powerful for the run that’s down on a hard floor, I have to turn the solution down and it’s still too much for the rug. Other than that it’s great as it has a big waste container that’s easy to eject to empty. I’d say it’s not for the elderly as it likes to run away from you due to the double rollers so you need a light grip at all times.

Second Shark vacuum with great new features
Second Shark vacuum and not disappointed. I love the new deodoriser feature & the fact that although still quite heavy it appears to have an assisted mechanism when vacuuming which feels so much easier. So far I am delighted with my purchase. Although the cordless are easier to whip around hard floors quickly having gone through a number I much prefer this corded version for heavier housework.
