Brilliant suction, but the cable could be better
I have been using this Shark hoover for a few weeks now and overall it is great. The suction is brilliant, and I was genuinely surprised at how much dirt my previous hoover clearly was not picking up. Buying a new Shark hoover really does make a huge difference. The only downside for me is the cable. It is not very flexible and is quite hard to wind up neatly, which makes hoovering a little more awkward than it needs to be. I live in a house with four people, two of whom are children, plus a dog, so the hoover gets plenty of use. So far, it has coped very well with everyday mess and pet hair. It will be interesting to see how the roller at the front holds up over time, whether it stays clean, and how easy it is to clean if it does get dirty. Aside from the cable issue, I am very happy with this hoover so far.

Brilliant hoover
This was recommended to me and I have since recommended to a friend who has also purchased. Amazing suction & love the light, I'm getting used to the lead as it's stiff to begin with and shorter than my last hoover. Like others have said, the tools don't easily fit on but all in all, super happy with this hoover, a big improvement on my Miele! I hope it stays this good!

Power lead cable issue.
Really happy with it. Brilliant suction and very user friendly with the lift away option and additional tools. Easy to empty and clean filters. Forwards and backward stroke pick up so cleans very quickly. My only problem is that the Power Cable is very very stiff, doesn't lay flat and kinks up, catching on furniture. I thought it would soften with use but this is not the case, come on Shark please swap the cable for a softer flexible lead.

Stratos
After about 10 years our shark finally gave up. Bought a stratos although it picks up well it’s not as good as the original which used to drag me across the floor. I don’t think the build is as good but then again the price hasn’t changed much so something has to give. The only other quibble I have is you now mount the cord on the right hand side not the left. It’s surprising how much more awkward it makes it for a right hander. Having said all that I would still recommend it.
