Anyway, I’m happy…
I wanted a desk light and there were plenty to choose from including some at reduced/sale prices, but I chose this one… why? It’s not rechargeable, so it comes with a lead to plug it into the wall. I didn’t come with bulbs, so I added these to this order as I didn’t have ES bulbs for this type of lamp, and it has a decent length lead which is longer than other desk lamps that were for sale. I bought it mainly for the length of lead, convenient switch, small footprint, and that I could put it anywhere if I wanted, and I don’t have to mess around with pointing the direction of light… I have one of those already and it’s not a good desk lamp imho. Anyway, I’m happy with my choice, it’s the white shade with wood legs and I am glad I chose it when I did, and it provides all the light I need to work at my desk… 5 stars all round.

The lamp is small and flimsy, not what I expected. The shade is plastic white which isn't very attractive. The bulb sits too high.
