About this product
The Habitat Bowie Ottoman Bed gives you a place to sleep and serious storage in one kingsize frame. It's built for bedrooms where you need every bit of space to count, keeping spare bedding, off-season clothes, or bulky items tucked away but easy to reach. The upholstered headboard and sides are soft to lean against when you're reading or settling in for the night. There's an end-lift mechanism that lifts the mattress base smoothly, revealing 810L of storage underneath. The cream linen-look fabric has a subtle texture that works with most bedroom styles.
The base has sprung wooden slats that support your mattress and let air circulate, that helps keep things fresh and prevents moisture build-up. The upholstered frame is durable fabric over a solid structure with plastic feet that lift the bed 5cm off the floor. It arrives flat-packed and you'll need two people to assemble it, all fixings and the headboard are included. There's a two-year manufacturer's guarantee covering the frame and one-year on the fabric.
With sprung wooden slats for healthy airflow this Bowie bed is all about helping to create conditions for a good night's sleep. A design with rest and relaxation at its heart.

Good bed, bad quality control
Bed is great, easy to build and sturdy. The only issue was it came missing half of the parts needed to build it, thankfully it only took 2 days to get replacements.

Great storage
Looks good the storage is great with lots of space, but putting it together took hours in fact took till the next day as I started it in the evening. The instructions could be a little clearer. One of the hinges was very stiff.

Lovely bed!
Bed is lovely and good quality. Does come in bits so will need assembly! Instructions not the best but got there in the end!

Colour not cream
We bought this bed recently and although the bed seems good quality, it wasn’t the colour we expected. It is advertised as ‘cream’ however it is more of a natural colour and almost looks grey in some lights

Nice looking large ottoman bed base
Looks lovely but lower then my previous base so something I am going to have to get used to and also bigger, my own fault for not measuring properly but takes up a lot of room and creaks a lot too due to the metal of the base and the wooden slats. The under bed storage is great and there is a lot of room.

The recommended mattress for the kingsize is width 150cm x length 200cm. The mattress weight should not exceed 60kg, the minimum weight is 30kg. There is no depth specifications.
