Brightness

This is a nice looking light and is good quality. It is quite small and I found it didn’t give enough light spread for the bedroom I wanted to use it in. It works well in the downstairs toilet though. I also found that the rose the lights all attach to is ever so slightly smaller than a standard ceiling rose, leaving a bit of unpainted ceiling on show, which is pretty annoying. A little thought in manufacturing could save a round of filler/painting. It’s also assumed (as a lot of lights seem to do) that you will only have 2 wires coming down from your ceiling, and it will be oh so easy to attach them to the supplied terminals, whereas most UK houses are not like that and have several cables that require connecting together resulting in connector blocks that need space to sit behind the light fitting. As mentioned this is a small rose and it’s a bit of a squash. The threads for the globes are also incredibly long and fine, and it feels like I’m going to cross thread them when screwing the globes on.
