Great. I already have one in the front room. This is for my kitchen. I had a echo show but the speaker sound became difficult to listen to and as it can't be fixed I decided to get another echo spot.

Echo Spot - spot on!
I bought this excellent device to go in our new holiday home caravan. It gives us an easy to read display as a clock and with full Alexa functionality provides any radio station or extensive music playlists with a simple verbal request. The sound quality is amazing for such a small bit of kit. It even tells you the weather forecast! We are delighted with our purchase from Argos which was so easy with click and collect and we highly recommend the Echo Spot.

Expensive for what you get!
O.K. Sound is good but a bit expensive for what you get. Shame it does not have an internal temperature sensor and back up battery, also choice of names / alarm sounds are a bit limited.

Phantom notifications!
Bought this to upgrade from an Echo Spot, was a bit of a pain to set up connecting to WiFi (It said it couldn't connect when it already was) and then with updates. However, for the first three nights it was giving me phantom notifications in the middle of the night, saying it was playing something from my phone! It had to go back

The Echo Spot features a Night Mode that changes the background to black and dims the screen to reduce glare and eye strain, especially at night. To enable Night Mode, go to Echo Settings > Home & Clock > Night Time Clock > Turn On & Set Schedule Time to dim the clock. Alternatively, you can say “Alexa, turn off display” to turn off the display completely until you call Alexa again.
