Great device
I bought 2 of these to replace two old bedside alarms clocks. They’re great. Easy to set up, look very stylish on the bedside tables. I’ve set them up with different names as they’re in the same room, so on the voice command to set the alarm the each recognise a different name to activate them (hadn’t thought about that initially).

Good product and decent upgrade
I bought this as a replacement of my previous Echo Dot with Clock. The sounds is similar but having a screen does have benefits on an Echo device especially to see the song you are playing or the weather being constantly on screen. I would recommend it as a decent upgrade.

The Echo Spot features a Night Mode that changes the background to black and dims the screen to reduce glare and eye strain, especially at night. To enable Night Mode, go to Echo Settings > Home & Clock > Night Time Clock > Turn On & Set Schedule Time to dim the clock. Alternatively, you can say “Alexa, turn off display” to turn off the display completely until you call Alexa again.
