Superb TV
This is the 3rd Hisense Large TV I have owned and this is the best yet. This TV is packed full of features and the picture quality is the best yet offering the best picture in all lighting conditions. The anti glare screen certainly makes a difference and allows viewing from various angles. The sound quality from this TV is also the best and I have stopped using my Hisense Sound bar as I find the output from the TV much better. The clarity of the sound is impressive helped by the built in sub woofer and side and upward facing speakers. The build quality is impressive using top quality materials. The stand is all metal and very heavy. The TV itself is quite heavy and required 2 people to wall mount. This TV shows Hisense can produce a top quality TV than can compete with all the major TV manufacturers and deserves to do well and anyone investing in this TV will not be dissapointed and anyone seeing it will be impressed. I would easily give this TV a 5 star rating. Well done Hisense you have excelled yorself with this TV and deserve to be congratulated

Great tv for a great price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been checking out the new Hisense 55U8QTUK MiniLED 165Hz Smart AI, and honestly… it’s amazing for the price. If you want a TV that looks high-end without paying crazy money… this might be the one. The screen is super bright, even in the middle of the day with sunlight coming in. The colors are rich, and the black parts of the screen actually look sooo dark not washed out. It’s awesome for watching movies or Netflix. The picture looks really sharp and smooth, even during fast scenes. if you are into gaming ( like me) PS5, Xbox, or even PC—this TV is a beast. It can do 4K at 165Hz, which is faster than most TVs. Games feel smooth and super responsive and very low input lag. Basically, it’s made for gaming. The sound is better than I expected. It has built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos, and it even has a little subwoofer in the back for bass. Movies and games sound full, and you might not even need a soundbar. Just a heads-up… if you mount it on the wall, the bass can make the wall vibrate a little. It’s a solid… well-built TV with a sleek design. The stand is adjustable, and the whole thing looks and feels like a premium product. Definitely doesn’t look cheap. This is one of the best TVs you can buy right now if you want awesome quality without paying OLED prices. Great for movies, sports, and especially gaming. Hisense really nailed it with this one. Would totally recommend. It is bright, fast, great sounding, and full of features. Definitely feels like you’re getting more than what you paid for.

A Brilliant All-Rounder with a Near Perfect UI
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with this TV since setting it up. The AI picture settings are genuinely brilliant - everything looks fantastic without needing to constantly adjust things manually. After looking into them a bit more it's based on ambient light and the type of programme so that's pretty epic! Whether we've had animated films on for the kids or I've been able to kick back and watch the rugby, the picture is vibrant, smooth, and full of detail. Even during the day in a bright room, there’s no issue with glare or fading colours - we have big dormer windows and it handles bright light really well, which is something we were hoping for in this TV. I’ve also been pleased with the sound. It’s clear and balanced, and we haven’t felt the need for extra speakers. Dialogue is crisp, and there’s a decent amount of depth, which makes a big difference for movies and action scenes. The built-in sound system gives a full, room-filling experience without needing to add a soundbar. Definitely play around with the sound settings as well for the best experience! Apps load quickly, and everything on the smart system runs smoothly. Switching between streaming services is quick and responsive. The remote is thoughtfully designed too - it’s got all the main app buttons built in, and I especially like that you can customise one of the buttons to go directly to a specific app or device input. That’s been a nice bonus. It even charges by sunlight and has a USB-C port, so it never runs out of battery...well it hasn't yet and I live in Scotland! The overall design of the TV is really modern and premium-looking. It sits nicely on our unit but would also look great wall-mounted (which it will be soon). The stand offers two height positions, which is helpful if you’re using a soundbar or want it a bit higher if you're a giant like me. The set-up was simple and guided me through everything clearly - I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. Note, it is fairly heavy to lift onto the stand yourself but with some careful positioning and the multifunctional packaging (that's not even a joke just wait 'til you see the instructions) you can manage it yourself. Overall, this TV has been a fantastic addition to our home. It looks good, performs well in all kinds of situations, and is easy to use every day. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a feature-packed, smart and reliable upgrade.

Feature packed and well built
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hisense is not a brand I have previously considered generally tending to look at more well known brands. However I was pleasantly surprised with my latest purchase of the 55U8QTUK. The TV was extremely well packaged, something I was grateful for given the weight of the TV. At first this might sound like a negative but I consider this a big postive. Many TV's now are so thin and light and can often feel fragile, not so with this model from Hisense, It feels quality and robust and well engineerd. The unboxing experience was good with everything well packaged and easily identifiable. I have the TV wall mounted and therefore didn't use the included stand however I have no doubt from the build quality of the stand it would have no problem supporting the TV should you choose to mount yours on a media unit. Powering up the TV I was greeted by an unfamiliar VIDAA operating system for the TV. I'm pleased to say it was fast and responsive with pleasent graphics and an easy to navigate and intuative design. I was able to setup all of my frequently used apps quickly and easily. One thing I must emphasize is the features and quality feel of the supplied remote in hand, also the fact that it doesn't need batteries and is powered by sunlight is a novel but useful highlight. I have a number of the latest gaming consoles and was pleased to see that all of the HDMI inputs are of the latest 2.1 generation and also supported my high-end gaming PC up to 165Hz refresh rate something not supported by many other TV's currently. Also a really nice unique feature of this TV and something which I cannot find on any other TV is a USB-C input this means I could connect my tablet and laptop via a single USB-C cable and again I was able to get full 4K resolution! Overall I have been massively impressed by both the design, features and quality of this TV and will be sure to consider Hisense products in the future based on this purchase.

Wow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! What a great TV! The picture is flawless, I didn't know this level of resolution was available. It was incredibly easy to set up, the controls are very easy to navigate. With the picture being so clear it works well with both watching shows and gaming. The sound is also ver good and clear. The build quality is great. I also really liked that the remote control is usb c charged and has a solar section on the bottom. I 100% recommend this TV.

Brilliant TV, Beautiful Picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV arrived well packed and was easy to set up from the go. The base that comes with the TV is a really solid center base that keeps the TV centered well. On start up the TV asks to connect to the Wi Fi which was easy enough to do and performed 2 firmware updates. The remote. The remote is made of plastic with nice size buttons giving it a premium feel. It has the main app buttons located on the top so you can easily find what you need. I specifically like the fact that Hisense has integrated a solar panel at the bottm quarter of the remote to recharge it and added a USB C port at the base of the remote to so that ensures the remote will always be fully charged. The sound is really good and the audio options are easy to find in the menu. There are multiple sound options to suit the desired room and listening experience and an AI featue which checks the accoustics of the room you're in to give you the best possible option. Picture quality is amazing, really clear and sharp. I didn't notice any blooming or had any issues with true blacks. I connected my games console to the TV and it has a game mode on it where it shows the FPS and I was getting true 120FPS so thats another thumbs up. Picture modes are a bit of difficult to set up to get the right picture set up because out of the box the picture is flat. To get the settings right for a HDR picture you have to watch something in HDR then adjust the settings while it is on screen the same goes for HLG settings. Once these are set they will automatically change once you watch something in that log. The TV OS has its own programme called Freely Live TV which allows you to get all the live programmes in one place. Overall I will give the TV 4 stars just due to the difficulty in setting the right picture profile

55U8QTUK
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV arrived promptly and well packaged. It took a little while to get everything out of the box and to attach the stand too, It’s not a light TV to manoeuvre so had to enlist some help. But once switched on the set up was straightforward and I started to enjoy the features it has to offer. Once set up I noticed how vibrant the colours were. The feature of up to 1500nits peak brightness is definitely noticeable when watching nature programs, sports and movies. I was slightly let down with the black when watching in 4k. I felt as though the colour just wasn’t right. However, when watching Wimbledon in UHD AI Sports Mode was spectacular. It was supported with the 120Hz Ultra Motion and made the experience brilliant. What the TV lacks in true black it makes up in Dolby Vision Atmos coupled with 2.1.2 Multi-Channel Surround. The quality is great and immersive. I felt as though I could hear each detail without the need of a sound bar. With 4 HDMI ports I have plenty of choice of plugging in my peripherals and still had a port free. But once my peripheral was set up, I used game pro mode and enjoyed hours of 144hz gaming. The only flaw with the TV is the weight, trying to install the stand on the TV being fiddly and overly complicated and the standby bright white light. However, this was resolved in the settings section and turning it off.

Best TV I've owned. Hisense TV (55U8QTUK)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with this Hisense TV (55U8QTUK), genuinely it's been such a joy to use The picture quality is one of the first things that stood out to me. I've never seen such stunning colours and quality, it's incredibly vibrant and sharp allowing the display to feel natural. Gaming has been surreal when playing on this TV. The super low input lag and support for variable refresh rate makes most compatible systems display games in manner of fast-paced, where it feels smooth and very responsive. It’s made a real difference in my gameplay, and I’ve most definitely noticed how fluid it feels in comparison to what I was used to before. The sound is amazing on this TV. I was very surprised at how great the quality of the speakers were. Sounds brilliant from all angles of the room aswell One other unique feature this TV offers is the ability to program a custom button on the remote, which can be set to any device input. This was pleasant to have as now when pressed it loads straight into my PlayStation Console input. Which I'm very happy about Ultimately, it’s been a brilliant upgrade. Very easy to use, most definitely recommend if you're after something that performs well across the board!

Brilliant TV for bright rooms
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After running this TV for a while I have come to appreciate the brightness and clarity of this picture in a room which naturally is flooded in light for most of the day. This is brilliant for watching Wimbledon or other sports where you want a bright screen to follow all the action without it being lost in glare or faint to the eye. This is not the only great thing going for this TV... The sound is the best I have heard from a TV without the need for additional speakers/soundbar. Bass from the built in subs aren't room shuddering like a dedicated sub, but do make the difference to highlight the low rumbles you expect which are normally not present on most TVs directly. Unboxing went OK. I opted to use the provided stand and I liked the fact that there are 2 options for height adjustment; useful for elevating the TV if sitting in a higher position or if wanting to raise it above a soundbar so as not to block the IR receiver. The only challenge was that I didn't follow the instructions exactly, and this meant my screw holes to mount the TV to the stand didn't align - so make sure to put the TV in the provided polystyrene so that the holes do align. I'm using this in a room that does not have access to an aerial, so Freely is a godsend and means I can watch all the standard channels in full HD without worrying about how to get the signal or switching between different apps. The setup process was simple and straight forwards and I was up-and-running in less than 15 minutes watching live TV. My only gripe is that the controller probably doesn’t need to have solar charging this makes the controller longer and not so easy to hold.

Knock Out TV - Perfect for Gaming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well this Tv Definitely packed a punch when it comes to performance , we originally wanted a new tv for the bedroom for my partner to play on his gaming console, but when we saw this tv it is now proud of place in our living room, love the remote it is so user friendly and the fact it can be charged up by sunlight is amazing, so futuristic, The sound is great, however i have purchased a sound bar, so cannot fully comment on this. It also has a QR code to download the app to your phone which also works good. The tv is very stylish and modern and love the design when placed on tv brackets on wall. The picture output is incredible, we have tested this we 8k videos and it picks up every little detail. I recommend this tv to anyone, slight on the more expensive side, but you do really get the quality you expect at that price point,
