We are happy with the TV picture and sound is excellent. When you go into the specifications for your TV it tells you that you get a five year guarantee when I registered the TV it said a 2 year cover. I was not happy about this can you explain why it says this.

Fantastic TV upgrade

It gives my living room a new look doing away with a mass of wires.The sound quality is great as I am very hard of hearing this is another bonus.Easy to operateI could not wish for better.

Bought this tv on 1 may this year, so far so good, the ability to operate game station, blue ray, and sound bar from 1 remote is an excellent feature, my last tv was 17 years old so picture quality and sound is amazing compared to what I’ve been used to.

Had this since Monday and still finding things that amaze me. It's bright clear with amazing sound. Comes with Freely so you can use it without an aerial. Lot6 still to find out still. Many apps to try out.

Great picture and sound
I’ve only had it for a week, upgrading from a very old 3D tv, and wish I’d replaced it sooner. The picture is bright and clear, and I’ve noticed blacks are truly black, rather than what I had before. I was watching reports about the recent space flights in a dark room, and I couldn’t see the edge of the screen because the blacks were being shown correctly. The sound is great, I’ve actually sent the sound bar I bought back, as I didn’t need it. You want big rumbling base, ok you still need external speakers, but it does a really good job by itself, I haven’t been let down it. Interface is easy to navigate and there are plenty of apps to keep me going for a while, hopefully they’ll stay updated for a long time, so I no longer need to use my Google TV. Only query I had was with the terrestrial tv, as I had to sing in to ITVX to just view ITV in the schedule, I guess it’s because it uses a Freely, which I think streams TV where it can, but it would be good to have more info about that, or what would you do if you didn’t want to have an ITVx account. But so far all channels have been good quality and glitch free and easy to navigate. If you come from an old TV like me that had many generations of connections you might find only 3 hdmi ports a squeeze, another couple would’ve been handy will need to juggle a wire or two until I find a solution. Don’t think you’ll regrate getting this TV.

The supplier has advised for the Hisense 55 Inch 55U8QTUK Smart 4K UHD HDR Mini LED Freely TV: Yes, the Hisense 55" 55U8QTUK Smart TV includes a built-in satellite tuner (DVB-S/S2), so it can receive free-to-air satellite channels when connected to a suitable satellite dish.
However, it does not include Freesat HD. Instead, it comes with the Freely TV platform, which provides free live and on-demand UK channels via an internet connection.
