About this product
The Argos Home Loft Living Shoe Storage Cupboard keeps your hallway tidy and your footwear organised. It holds up to 20 pairs of shoes, from tall boots to everyday trainers, so the whole family's collection has a home. Four adjustable shelves let you change the spacing to suit what you're storing. The sliding doors open smoothly using cutout handles, keeping everything hidden but easy to reach. The steel and oak-effect wood stands up to daily use in busy hallways.
The powder-coated steel frame adds strength and a clean industrial look that suits modern homes. The oak-effect finish brings warmth to the metal structure. It's freestanding, so you can place it where it works best for your space. It needs secure wall attachment to prevent overturning. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, one person can manage assembly. Comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Looks good and Fits nicely
Purchased this shoe cabinet to replace 1 I already had that wasnt deep enough to fit adult mens shoes. I liked how solid this cabinet looked and wasn't dissapointed when I built it. It looks good and fits perfectly. It was quite easy to build, although the door mechanism could have done with clearer or some written instructions. Only negative I can find is that there isn't enough space between the shelves. You cannot fit boots in the shelves and may struggle to fit adult shoes with higher heels or thick sole trainers. Also only fits 12-15 pairs of adult shoes, not 20. Overall would have preferred if it was taller with larger gaps between shelves.

Contemporary shoe cabinet
Good size shoe cabinet with ample room for all your footwear. Will easily fit 20 pairs of shoes. Took approx one and half hours to put together myself. Easy to understand instructions with all pieces numbered for ease. Very pleased with this purchase.

Sturdy but disappointing
Sturdy. Good capacity but husband's size 11 shoes have to go on an angle to fit in so disappointed that it's sold as shoe storage but isn't actually big enough to do that.

Wouldn't recommend
Screws were mislabelled and missing. One piece is damaged at the corner. Instructions could be better to read. The shelves say adjustable, but there is only one possible position per shelf, so the only way they are adjustable is if you leave a shelf out. The capacity is alright, but a bit of wasted space in the middle where the doors overlap. I managed to build alone and it looks good put together, but overall wouldn't recommend. Not worth the price.

Definitely worth buying
Absolutely love this shoe cupboard. I may buy another to put on top as I've more shoes than I realised, but it's not small. It's really strong ,great it has sliding doors. You do need a drill.

Good faux wood effect.
Great cabinet, this was my 2nd choice cabenet with sliding doors, that's an important feature, as it's not being used for shoe storage, it's for my CD's, it's a solid built unit, and doesn't look out of place in my front room.
