Best duvet I’ve ever had! I bought the 4.5 tog in February because my husband and I are always hot in bed (settle down, folks!!)), and it has been perfect. Amazing warmth, cosy and comfortable. I’m already looking for my next one!
I bought this 2 months ago and love it 10.5 tog, never had such a high tog rating before because i get too hot but this is perfect. It's lightweight and oh so warm without being hot. The duvet is soft to the touch ,i have never felt so cosy in bed ,it is an excellent product. I only have a 9kg washing machine (they reccommend10kg) i did manage to get it in and it seemed to wash ok, dried outdoors it dried very quickly and back on the bed for the night. I have now ordered the 6 tog for the summer. So nice not struggling with putting covers on .
This is my 6th coverless duvet from you (have I earned a reward yet 🤣) I started small with a duvet for my Motorhome and the convenience of being able to wash bedding while travelling, but my obsession with the coverless duvet grew from there. Love them! Love the hygiene aspect along with no longer needing to wrestle with duvet covers. The only niggle and it’s a small one, is that you need to take extra care if you tumble dry but as I preference my bedding air dryer it’s not to much of an issue.
I am already planning my next buys, a white waffle 4.5tog (I already have tufted dots) for my king, and a blue tufted dots 4.5tog double for the guest bedroom.
I am very pleased with this quilt so far as no more putting on quilt covers, which was beginning to get difficult for me. I am worried about washing it as I don't want it looking a sight once dried. I have washed the matching pillowcases twice and they are so creased they look awful. I dried them in the tumble dryer and even tried to iron them, although it says not to iron. I certainly don't want the quilt looking the same.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Night Lark Seersucker Coverless 4.5 Tog Duvet Sets - Single: ''The duvet is indeed suitable for tumble drying, but we recommend using a cooler setting to best protect the product. Alternatively, you can also choose to line dry the duvet – both methods are valid options. If line drying, you might find it helpful to drape the duvet over a banister, drying rack, or chairs near a radiator. Whichever method you choose, please ensure the duvet is thoroughly dry before reuse to help prevent the fibres from clumping together.''
