Not suitable for use with Sky Q dishes.
I bought this hoping to use it having got rid of Sky TV... however when i got it home i noticed a statement on the box suggesting it may not be compatible with Sky Q dishes. Luckily I had not opened it or used it, so was able to return it for a refund.

The supplier has advised the following for the Manhattan SX Freesat HD Box:
The SX model is a Freesat receiver designed for the UK. It requires the signal from the Astra 2 28.3 East satellite to be able to install and watch Freesat channels. It will not install if the signals are from a different satellite.

Wi fi is not needed to operate as a standard Freeview box. To use the full range of features such as on demand an internet connection would be necessary.

Hello there.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Manhattan SX Freesat HD Box: If the dish has Sky Q LNB or a Wideband LNB when two signal leads are present (ie Vertical & Horizontal polarity) then it will not work. Customer needs to change the LNB to a Legacy Universal LNB.
