Cheap phone, actually quite useful
Unless you've been living under a rock for several decades (hey, it's your constitutional right), you've been using a smartphone with touchscreen. So setting up this phone will be quite a challenge unless you ask AI for help, as I did. Once you've managed to switch it on and keep it on for more than a few seconds before the screen locks (!), it will reward you with amazing battery life and peace of mind. Why peace of mind? Because if you lose or break the phone, it doesn't really matter.

This phone is inexpensive and it shows. Acceptable functionality but text messages are hard to read, display window is wonky and it takes some time getting used to how all the buttons operate as even the switch off function is difficult to find. Not for an older person who might be easily confused.

A functional basic phone
Very limited instructions but has multiple menu options so setting it up is not easy. The button keypad makes writing text rather tedious but it functions adequately and is fine if it is mainly used to make and receive calls. A useful phone as a back-up or for a low user

Menu > Settings > Profiles. To set on a profile, scroll to it, and select
Yes you can - under PROFILE in settings. There are a number of different options such as normal, indoor, outdoor, and of course, silent. Each option varies in volume.

Some are listed on our website as, for example, EE or Vodaphone as the handsets are supplied by them with that specific network provider's SIM card in the box. Customers can choose to use another network and their existing SIM if they do not wish to use the one in the box. This is just how these handsets are bundled and advertised.
