I've got my new Moto Edge 60 after 3 years of using the G8 and I have to say it’s a huge improvement, and the price tag is also not that bad. Considering quite fast processing, 5G, NFC payments, and Bluetooth (I miss the small audio jack 3.5 mm / 1/8 inch input, which has been removed from the design for wired earphones – it seems nowadays tech is going fully Bluetooth), and no FM radio, which I also miss. Performance is solid so far; if not overloaded with too many apps, it should stay nice and smooth for a really long time. I hope they don’t interrupt this with heavy updates that will make more mess and slow the Android system. The camera has also had major updates: 50 megapixels front and back should do the job well, also 4K recording, lots of nice features, filters, and quick editing tools. They must work on video stabilisation when you walk – visible blurs and jumpy pixelated points don’t look good compared to iPhone Pro and Max or S25 Ultra, where recordings during walks look nice and smooth, like a flying drone. No correction gimmicks or imperfections there. I hope they will improve this. The battery for now is brand new, so it holds charge as intended and doesn’t need frequent recharging. The interface is quite familiar compared to older versions, which is nice. I’ve just updated Android from 15 to 16 – to be honest, it took ages to download it again; they need to do smaller packages and faster uploads. Talking about durability, if protected properly it should resist freezing temperatures outside, rain, or shocking damage from drops on the floor or pavement if well secured, but time will tell obviously. Fingers crossed, so far so good. Overall for this price tag B+

Ignore AI, but the rest is not bad
AI is a gimmick, disabled most of things as they were useless. Has some annoyances such as installation of software without asking (bloatware), live wallpaper kept enabling itself after multiple times I disabled it. No screen protector applied, included case is useless. Curved screen is not the best thing in a world, but it is what it is. But let's talk about good- it has sd card slot in 512gb phone!!! Tell me another phone who does that! Overall seems a good phone despite some shortcomings.
