Very quiet and reliable
I bought this a couple of months ago and I'm absolutely in love. It's so quiet on the lowest setting while still moving a good amount of air. A couple of times I've gone out of the house without even noticing that it was on. The higher settings make it slightly louder but the air movement is crazy for such a cheap, light, and efficient item.

It's a great product, early days yet though.
It was stressful trying to find anywhere that had fans available during the last heatwave. Thankfully after refreshing the Argos website this beauty came up. It's quiet! Powerful on the 2nd and 3rd speed settings. It's only been just over a week since I purchased it and so far impressed. Hope it lasts a long time. It looks sturdy. Was easy to assemble by myself. Looks attractive in my living room/kitchen space. Thank you Argos (special shout out to the kind assistant at Forest Hill click and collect counter for the string so I could secure the box to transport it home).

Its not freely adjustable but can be made shorter.
Because the grey pole at bottom can be removed and just the white pole with attached fan can be fitted directly to base this would make it shorter.
