Not as good as I’d hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really hoped this would be better than it was. Curls well on wet hair but leaves hair are quite frizzy. I like to curl mine after I’ve straightened for smoothness and it didn’t work at all, left it with harsh kinks in it. Quite difficult to get the hang of using as it’s a bit jolty web you push the handle in to twist. If you want something to use straight on wet hair and don’t want it smooth then this would work on shorter thinner hair.

Easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This curler is really easy to use. It took my about 2 minutes to get the hang of it. Curls came out super bouncy and worked well on my thick hair. Hair still looked nice and shiny.

Fantastic curler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This curler is amazing! I naturally have thick wavy hair and this made it turn into defined curls so easily (as seen in the video) I was a little puzzled initially at how to operate the rotating split barrel but it's a case of gentle squeezing so it gets all the hair up and curled. Will be gifting this to my daughter as a Christmas present. She will be thrilled! Temperature gets hot quickly and the noise is pretty minimum considering the curl strength!

Great little tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first attempt using the Remington Airvive, and while it’s a little tricky at first, I still managed to get some lovely bouncy curls. I’ve found that pressing the button twice (rather than one firm press) works best for me. It heats up quickly, is easy to store, and the instructions are straightforward. I’m actually looking forward to experimenting more with it. I’m not usually great at doing my own hair, so this has already made a big difference!

Great effect, ready to use, variable temp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great hair gadget, something I've been looking for. The curls are easy to achieve with the curler, it's not too heavy or cumbersome and it's easy to operate. Simply insert the hair through from the root or wherever you want the curls to start, press and pull until you reach the end. Repeat! Curls are great, lovely volume, good bounce. With the right products these can last all day. The cord is a good length, which is always a question when you take weird electronics to hotel rooms and such, but I'm pleased. Generally, I'm glad to have this and would recommend!

Too time consuming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sleek looking product which I was really excited to receive. It was packaged nicely and easy to set up. It has 3 different heat settings and heats up quickly. It also isn't too heavy so doesn't make your arm ache when holding it. It has a slight noise to it as the air comes out when it's on but this is fine. This is a manual curler so once you've fed your hair through the barrel you then push the button to curl it as the hair passes through. This is easy enough to hold and press at the same time. Unfortunately as my hair is quite thick it took a long time to pass each small section through the barrel. It would have been easier if the barrel had opened somewhat. I also felt that while I could get some curls they were a bit inconsistent and to curl my whole head would have taken an age. I think this would be a good product for someone with thinner hair.

Not good for long hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried these curlers on my very long hair and not great my hair is too long for these curlers however I tried on my friends short hair and they are great the curls are defined and stay in all day

Love it!

Great once you get the hang of it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is poker straight naturally and I long for curly hair so was super excited to try this!! There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get the knack this is a really effective tool. I was able to achieve nice curls without frazzling my hair. The tool is also really comfortable to hold with a rubberised feeling texture.
