The new sony TV was as expected. The only draw back was having to scan the QR code for any instructions, very time consuming and confusing when you have to keep bringing it back up, to confirm steps

Great features but some lack of definition
I bought this TV 3 weeks ago on August 3rd. I did not find the set up very straightforward but it's now up and running and has lots of options. Some off the programmes and channels do not have as clear definition as I would like, which is very disappointing. The aerial and amp have been checked and I've retuned.

Stunning picture
I’ve had my Sony 65-inch RGB TV for around six weeks now, and I’m absolutely delighted with it. The picture quality is simply brilliant and stunning, with a level of detail, colour and clarity that is a huge leap forward from my previous Sony Bravia 65-inch TV, which was around five years old. The sound quality is also excellent and, for me, needs no additional sound system. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the TV and would definitely recommend it. My only minor negative is that occasionally, when switching it on, the sound and picture are slightly out of sync. Switching the Sky Q box off and back on again rectifies this, so it’s only a small inconvenience. ★★★★★ Highly recommended.

Thanks for the reply. The tv is capable of playing a fantastic picture because setting up my Netflix, Amazon, Now TV ect, it said, your tv is running at 1080p, do you want to upgrade for a fee, of course, and now the screen is stunning. So it has the capabilities if you pay in multiple subscriptions. However terrestrial tv is free, and nowhere in the settings can you upgrade the picture quality. Its like viewing tv in 90s - 2003. Please DO NOT BUY this tv. Its really upsetting for the money.

You would know if there was a film as it's clearly noted within the packaging and has tabs that you need to pull to remove it. The model here is stated to not have one.
In terms of your issue with the picture quality, we would suggest contact Sony on this to see if it's a display fault, they are best to answer the questions and troubleshooting as it's their product, we are just the selling platform.
