As a Sony user I tought I would try this 43" bravia tv, coupled to my Sony AV it certainly works a looks fine, really haven't got to terms with all the setting as yet but so far a ok, as noted by other users the dark colors could do with a tweak probably a software update would fix this issue, easy to do first setup do wonder regarding some settings especially with bluyray connections ect, but overall it's a 5* rating and I would certainly recommend this Sony k43s38bp tv

Remotes are too small
So far after 2 weeks everything is ok. First smart tv I’ve had . Down side is the remotes are too small ,so small buttons. Why 2 remotes one i think is for voice control but other makes have all this on one remote. Other downside had to buy a tv stand to fit to the tv so not to use the legs that come with it other wise wouldn’t fit on my stand

Brilliant picture.
Purchased the TV 3-4 weeks ago. This is the second Bravia (with a different brand in between) and it has not disappointed us. The picture and sound are exceptional. We play through a freeview box and record what we want to watch. without the intrusions of trailers and adds. We have not experienced any issues but use catch up on the occasional failed recording. A lot more on the TV than we will ever use but fine for those who will?

I had a Sony 4K TV previous to this model i recently purchased. That model lasted 11 years before a line appeared on the screen recently. If I get the same life out of this TV as the last i will be extremely satisfied.

I bought this to replace a non-smart Sony bravia but it is disappointing. I have had to constantly reboot. My old bravia never failed in over 15 years but I will be using the old one with a Chromecast I found in the drawer

Thanks for the reply. The tv is capable of playing a fantastic picture because setting up my Netflix, Amazon, Now TV ect, it said, your tv is running at 1080p, do you want to upgrade for a fee, of course, and now the screen is stunning. So it has the capabilities if you pay in multiple subscriptions. However terrestrial tv is free, and nowhere in the settings can you upgrade the picture quality. Its like viewing tv in 90s - 2003. Please DO NOT BUY this tv. Its really upsetting for the money.

You would know if there was a film as it's clearly noted within the packaging and has tabs that you need to pull to remove it. The model here is stated to not have one.
In terms of your issue with the picture quality, we would suggest contact Sony on this to see if it's a display fault, they are best to answer the questions and troubleshooting as it's their product, we are just the selling platform.
