Lovely functional bed
A beautiful and really functional bed which gives plenty of great storage space for my bookish teenage son. The materials are solid and well-made. A couple of panels were slightly bashed when they arrived but not visible once constructed and doesn't affect stability. It did take us a full day to assemble though - some elements (the frame and the piston lifts) are very tricky - fiddly to insert the frame screws and not very clear where exactly in the sliding openings the bolts should go for the pistons. However, we got there in the end and the bed seems pretty stable. My son is thrilled with it and it looks very nice in his small room - great space-saver.

What can i say about this bed apart from wow! I bought this bed a month ago and it's fantastic! By far the sturdiest bed I've ever had. The wood looks great! It does seem to be a chip board with wood covering but looks really nice. It's very heavy. Lots of storage under the bed with solid wood bottoms that just lay flat on your floor. The shelving is great and exactly what I wanted. It even has safety hooks you can use when the mattress is lifted to keep you safe and prevent it coming down on you. Not that I think it would. The hydrolics where and are still quite stiff and I really struggled to lower it at first and the mattress was on. I built it alone and am a small but strong female. It does state 2 people on the booklet and they aren't wrong! Plenty of heavy lifting which as it's assembled gets heavier. Still doable alone just hard work and not fun. Instructions were easy to follow and parts were well labelled. Very happy with my lovely new bed with space for books and other items. Also the Allen keys for building this were the best I've ever had provided with a flat pack. I love building DIY and these made it so easy!
